WWE’s Live Events in Mexico Break Several Records

WWE had a very successful and record-breaking live tour in Mexico this past weekend. 

WWE itself confirmed that its live event Supershows on Saturday, July 22, and Sunday, July 23, broke several records as they became the highest-grossing and highest-attended live events in Mexico for 12 years. 

These events were also the highest-grossing events to ever take place at the Arena Ciudad de México. Not only this, but WWE also creates a record for the highest-ever merchandise sale in Mexico City. 

More than 25,000 WWE fans attended these events across both nights to see their favorites like Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, Damian Priest, Rey Mysterio, Rhea Ripley, Asuka, Charlotte, and more in action. 

Saturday night’s main event featured Rey Mysterio unsuccessfully challenging Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. The card also featured Cody Rhodes beating Damian Priest, Rhea Ripley retaining against Natalya & Becky Lynch, and more exciting matches. 

Now, all the superstars have returned to the US to prepare for tonight’s Raw which will take place in Florida.
