WWE Women’s Tag Team Title Match Set For WWE Money in the Bank

Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler will defend their Undisputed Women’s Tag Team Championship against Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez at WWE Money in the Bank 2023 PPV event.

During June 23 episode of SmackDown, Rousey and Baszler became the Undisputed WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions by defeating NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions The Unholy Union(Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre).

After the match, Rousey asked Raquel Rodriguez, who was in the commentator seat during the match, why she was out there. Rodriguez expressed her desire to reclaim the title that she had never lost. Liv Morgan also made her comeback to stand beside her tag team partner and had a face-off with the champions.

During the May 12 episode of SmackDown, Liv Morgan got injured during her match against Bayley and Dakota Kai, which resulted in them relinquishing the tag team titles. After that, a fatal four-way match was scheduled for the vacant title, which resulted in Rousey and Baszler winning the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships.

Rodriguez and Morgan said in a WWE Digital Exclusive that they were here to reclaim the title that they have never lost. During the Smackdown LowDown episode on Saturday, Ronda and Shayna were informed that they will defend the newly unified titles at Money in the Bank 2023 PLE.
