Welcome to the live results blog for WWE Survivor Series: WarGames 2024 event, which will be live from Vancounver, Canada.

The special attraction is obviously the two WarGames matches. The men’s WarGames match will see the clash of Bloodline. Solo Sikoa’s New Bloodline team consisting of Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa and Bronson Reed will face Roman Reigns with Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, Sami Zayn and CM Punk.

The women’s WarGames match will see Bianca Belair, Rhea Ripley, Naomi, Bayley and Iyo Sky facing Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, Nia Jax, Tiffany Stratton and Candice LeRae. 3 other title matches are also on the card.

World Heavyweight Champion Gunther will face Damian Priest. United States Champion LA Knight will take on Shinsuke Nakamura. A triple threat match for Intercontinental title will see a match between Bron Breakker, Sheamus and Ludwig Kaiser.

RESULTS

  • Bianca Belair, Bayley, Rhea Ripley, Iyo Sky & Naomi defeated Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, Nia Jax, Tiffany Stratton & Candice LeRae in the WarGames Match via pinfall.
  • Shinsuke Nakamura defeated LA Knight(c) in a singles match via pinfall to win WWE United States Championship.
  • Bron Breakker(c) defeated Ludwig Kaiser & Sheamus in a Triple Threat Match via pinfall to retain WWE Intercontinental Championship.
  • Gunther(c) defeated Damian Priest in a singles match via submission to retain World Heavyweight Championship.
  • Roman Reigns, Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, Sami Zayn & CM Punk defeated The Bloodline(Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga & Tonga Loa) & Bronson Reed in the WarGames Match via pinfall.

LIVE UPDATES

Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, Nia Jax, Tiffany Stratton & Candice LeRae vs Bianca Belair, Bayley, Rhea Ripley, Iyo Sky & Naomi – WarGames Match

Bayley and Nia Jax start the match. Nia dominates the first five minutes and ragdolls Bayley completely. Naomi enters the match as the second competitor for her team. She brings in a toilet seat and a colorful kendo stick with her which she uses to put Nia in a sleeper choke. Nia backs her into the corner to break free. Bayley stops Nia from using the toilet seat and hits her with kendo stick.

Candice LeRae enters next and brings in some chairs. Nia grabs one of them to hit Bayley. Candice uses one of the chairs as a launching pad to hit a codebreaker-senton combo on Bayley and Naomi. Bianca Belair brings in a kendo stick, a fire extinguisher, trash can and a chair into the ring. This helps her team to bring their opponents down. Tiffany Stratton enters and works with Nia to beat up the opposite team.

Iyo is next to enter from babyface team. She brings out a trash can from under the ring and climbs to the top of the cage from outside. Candice pulls her down and Iyo misses a sunset flip powerbomb. She makes it up with a missile dropkick. Raquel enters next and wrecks havoc with Nia. Rhea Ripley enters last for her team. Chaos continues with everyone either using a big move or some weapon to get others down. Rhea is left the last one standing and she waits for Liv Morgan to enter. Liv gets out of the pod but instead goes backstage. She comes out with a baseball bat. Rhea takes her down regardless.

Others get invovled soon again. The chaos leads to everyone being down. Tiffany Stratton brings in her Money in the Bank briefcase, but she wastes time in thinking about against whom to cash it in as both Liv and Nia were down in front of her. Raquel confronts her before Iyo sprays them with fire extinguisher. Action continues and Liv hits Bayley with the Oblivion, but Rhea breaks the pin. Nia brings down everyone. She sets up Bianca on a table. Bianca recovers and Naomi joins her to put Nia through the table. Liv breaks the pin with her baseball bat.

Bianca chases Liv to the other ring where Raquel drops her with clothesline. Raquel is handcuffed in one corner. Rhea attacks Liv again, but Raquel interrupts from behind. Rhea lands big shots on her. This gives Liv the chance to hit Rhea with Oblivion aided by a chair. Liv sets up Rhea on the table and gets to the top rope. Rhea recovers and hits Liv with a Super Riptide from the top rope to get the pinfall and the win.

Winner – Bianca Belair, Bayley, Rhea Ripley, Iyo Sky & Naomi

LA Knight(c) vs Shinsuke Nakamura – WWE United States Championship

Knight gets a quick start. He unleashes quick punches after getting Nakamura down to the mat. More stomps follow. Nakamura rolls out to the floor but Knight hits him with a dropkick through the ropes. Nakamura hits back and sends him into the barricade. Back to the ring, Knight uses a big boot to counter. He drops Nakamura on the ropes and hits an elbow drop. Nakamura counters a German suplex by driving Knight into the turnbuckle.

Nakamura hits a quick back elbow to get control of the match. More strikes follow from Nakamura in the next minute. Knight counters by dropping him on the ropes. Knight ducks a roundhouse kick and hits a Burning Hammer. Nakamura counters on the top rope and drops Knight on the turnbuckle. He uses the ropes as springboard to hit an enzuigiri on the top rope. Nakamura hits a belly to back suplex from the second rope to get a two-count.

Knight hits back quickly after this. He hits an elbow drop from the top. Nakamura rolls to the steel apron to avoid BFT and manages to drop Knight on it with an inverted DDT. He hits Kinshasa as they return to the ring and gets the pinfall.

Winner – Shinsuke Nakamura

Bron Breakker(c) vs Ludwig Kaiser vs Sheamus – Triple Threat Match for WWE Intercontinental Championship

Kaiser leaves the ring as the bell rings. Breakker starts with punches on Sheamus. Sheamus hits back quickly but Breakker hits him with a German suplex. Kaiser gets into the ring with a steel chair but Breakker ducks it and comes off the ropes to run him over. Sheamus hits Breakker with a backbreaker. Kaiser kicks at Sheamus’ knee from behind. He hits a dropkick on Breakker against the turnbuckle. Kaiser sets up a chair in between turnbuckles but Breakker and Sheamus are upon him by the time he is finished.

Breakker and Sheamus work in tandem to beat up Kaiser for the next few seconds. Sheamus sets up for the 10 Beats of Bothran but Breakker drops him on the ropes. Breakker looks for a spear on the floor, only for Kaiser to cut him off with a dropkick. Kaiser sends Sheamus into the table. Breakker jumps on Kaiser with a crossbody. Breakker takes Sheamus back into the ring and kicks at him. Sheamus recovers after a while to hit a body slam. Kaiser breaks the pin. Kaiser and Sheamus fight to the floor. Kaiser avoids a powerbomb on the floor. Breakker jumps on both opponents to get everyone over the announce table.

Kaiser sends Breakker over the steel steps. Sheamus emerges from behind the barricade to hit 10 Beats of Bothran on Kaiser. He then gives Breakker the same treatment. He hits a double clothesline on his opponents after jumping off the barricade. Kaiser picks up Sheamus’ shelailegh. Sheamus snatches it from him and sends Kaiser into the timekeepers area. Breakker and Sheamus brawl in the ring. Breakker hits a jumping knee. Sheamus counters in the corner and hits Celtic Cross to get a two-count. Sheamus gets to the top rope. Breakker hits him with a Frankesteiner.

Sheamus moves away from a spear to send Breakker into the steel chair set up in the corner. Sheamus hits a Brogue kick but Kaiser pulls the referee out of the ring to stop the pin. Kaiser beats up Sheamus with the shelailegh before taking him back into the ring. Sheamus counters with a knee to the face, but Kaiser kicks out of the pin. Kaiser hits a rolling senton on Sheamus. He follows up with his finisher but Breakker hits a spear just as he turns around. Breakker then waits for Sheamus to get up and hits him also with a spear to get the pinfall.

Winner – Bron Breakker

Gunther(c) vs Damian Priest – World Heavyweight Championship

Gunther wastes some time by circling around the ring. He gets the first side takedown before Priest hits him with a couple of armdrags. Gunther ducks a roundhouse kick and rolls to the floor. More time wasting tactics from Gunther as he returns to the ring and gets back out on the apron. He catches Preist with a kick to his knee. Preist hit back with a pump kick. Gunther gets out of the ring again.

Priest hits quick side-kicks. Gunther counters with a boot from the corner but Priest hits him with a knee. Preist has injured his shoulder though during that counter. Gunther jumps onto this and targets his shoulder on the floor. He drives it against the barricade and ring post. Priest hits back with a big elbow but Gunther continues to target the shoulder again. Back into the ring, Gunther keeps targetting the shoulder shrewdly for the next few minutes and keeps Priest grounded.

Priest gets up and tries to use chops and forearm shots. Gunther wrenches his arm again. Priest has to resort to an enzuigiri to finally drop Gunther again. Gunther snaps his arm again but Priest hit big chops to take over advantage. He hits a flatliner next. Gunther ducks a clothesline and goes for a choke. He changes it to a powerbomb which Priest counters and goes for an arm triangle. Gunther converts it into a pin attempt and Priest has to let it go.

Priest fails to hit Razor’s Edge due to his shoulder. Gunther hits a powerbomb to get a near fall. Priest catches Gunther with punches when Gunther gets to the top rope. Priest hits a hurricanrana from the top rope and then hits the Razor’s Edge. Gunther kicks out of the pin. Gunther blocks a chokeslam. He hits a chop but Priest hits back. He goes for the chokeslam once again but Gunther blocks it again.

Gunther then puts on the Kimura lock on the arm with injured shoulder. He tries to wrap Priest in a choke at the same time. Priest drags himself to the ropes to break the move. Gunther looks frustrated now. He hits a clothesline. Another clothesline. Priest ducks the next one and hits back with a clothesline of his own. Priest also hits another clothesline, but Gunther kicks out of the pin.

Priest gets to the top rope. Gunther distrubs the ropes to drop him on the turnbuckles. Gunther goes for a superplex but Priest grabs the ropes to block it. Priest pushes Gunther back into the ring but Priest himself gets dropped on the floor. The referee checks on Priest who tells him that he needs a minute. The referee then goes to check on Gunther. Finn Balor runs out and hits Coupe de Grace on Priest on the floor. The referee screams at Balor. Gunther runs Balor over with a big boot. Gunther picks up Priest and puts on a sleeper choke to get a submission win.

Winner – Gunther

The Bloodline(Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga & Tonga Loa) & Bronson Reed vs Roman Reigns, Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, Sami Zayn & CM Punk – WarGames Match

Solo and his team enter first. Tama Tonga is starting for them. Sami Zayn enters first for the opposite team. Jimmy Uso follows. CM Punk comes out and pokes in Solo’s pod to rile them up. Surprisingly, Roman is not the last one to enter as The OTC comes out next. Roman’s team also get caged up in their pod. Jey Uso is the last to enter through the crowd and heads straight into the WarGames cage.

Tama is standing on top of the turbuckle and gets down only when Jey enters his ring after the bell. They are too cautious to engage. They eventually start with big punches. Jey whips Tama to the corner and hits a back splash. Tama ducks an enzuigiri and hits a clothesline. He hits a suplex next. Some showboating before Tama hits a springboard senton. Jey blocks a right and lands big rights himself. Tama reverses a whip to send Jey into the corner. He goes for the pin but quickly realizes that it is not in play. Jey ducks a sliding clothesline and hits a hip attack in the corner.

Bronson Reed enters as the second man for team Solo. Reed brings in some chairs, but Jey throws them at his face to stop him in his tracks. Jey lands big rights but Reed hits back with a Thesz Press quickly. He hits Jey with chairs after this. Tama comes in and Reed drops him on Jey before hitting a senton. Reed and Tama continue to work on Jey until…

Jimmy Uso enters for Team Roman. Jimmy hits gamengiris from the ropes on both Reed and Tama. Jey gets up and joins Jimmy for a double superkick on Reed. Tama drops Jey but Jimmy boots Reed before avoiding Tama in the corner and hits a senton dive on both opponents. Jimmy corners Reed to allow Jey to jump on him. They repeat the move on Tama. The Usos batter them with more punches before a double superkick to Reed. Reed is thrown into the cage next.

Tonga Loa was looking to enter the match next, but Solo sends Jacob Fatu instead. Tonga Loa enters the match and brings in a table with him. Team Solo is in control as the action slows down. Tonga drops Sami with a running powerslam. Roman is smirking at Punk in their pod. Sami is being crushed against the cage by Jacob who then goes to hit a double jump moonsault on Jey. Tama hits a dropkick on Jey’s face.

Roman Reigns looks to enter but Punk walks past him quickly to enter the match himself. Punk stands on the steel steps and looks at Team Solo waiting for him. Punk goes and picks up a tool box. He runs over Team Solo with the toolbox. He then hits jumping knee on Reed in one corner, on Jacob and Tama in the other corner. He hits Jacob with a bulldog on top of toolbox, but Jacob gets up quickly and drops Punk with a Samoan drop.

Solo Sikoa gets out of the pod and tells Roman that he will show him what the real Tribal Chief is. Solo slams a door on Sami’s face as Jacob and Tama hold Sami. He does the same to Jey and then to Jimmy. Punk is already beaten up in the corner. Solo adds to his misery with a beatdown. Team Solo tears Team Roman apart. Jacob hits a moonsault on the Usos. Reed hits a Tsunami on Sami. Punk also gets beaten up some more. Solo then locks the cage from inside and screams at Roman that he is not getting inside.

Roman gets out of his pod to enter the match. All 5 members of Team Solo are waiting for him, but the door is locked from inside. Roman looks for way to enter the cage. Roman climbs up the cage. Tama and Tonga get up but Roman slams them on the cage to drop them. He does the same to Reed. Roman then kicks Jacob as he climbs into the ring. Solo gets his face slammed to the cage wall. Roman then hit a crossbody to take down all the opponents.

Roman picks up his team members. Paul Heyman comes out and begs Roman and Punk to work together. The message seems to be getting through as the start of the WarGames is announced. Both teams face off from different rings. They meet up in the middle apron to start a brawl. Sami hits a DDT on Reed. Tongans look to double team on him but The Usos hit double superkick to stop them. The Usos hit stereo splash on the Tongans. Roman and Punk were beaten down by Solo and Jacob, who also throw The Usos into the cage wall. Solo and Jacob work against Roman and Punk.

Roman slips out of Solo’s spike and goes for the spear, but Solo sidesteps. Roman spears Punk who was looking for GTS on Jacob. Solo hits a Samoan Spike on Roman, but Roman kicks out of the pin. Jacob misses a moonsault on Jacob. Reed hits a senton on Punk. Sami and The Usos also gets beaten up. Team Solo sets up a table. Roman hits a low blow on Jacob and a spear on Solo. Reed hits a superkick on Roman and sets up him on the table. Reed climbs to the top of the cage for Tsunami but Punk puls Roman away. Reed goes through the table.

Roman gives Punk a hand to get him up but Jacob hits a superkick on Punk. Solo hits a Samoan Spike on Roman and then another one. Jey saves Roman from the pin with a superkick on Solo. Jacob tries to fight The Usos who hit him with a double superkick and then a 1-D. Jey sets up Jacob but has to take care of Tonga with a spear. Tama drops Jey. Sami hits Tama with a Blue Thunderbomb. Jimmy hits a Usos Splash on Jacob from the top of the cage.

Sami gets up on his feet and helps The Usos up. He also helps Punk and Roman up to their feet. They all surround Solo. Roman offers him one chance but Solo signals for the Samoan Spike. The Usos hit him with a double superkick twice. Sami hits him with The Helluva kick, Punk with GTS and Roman with a spear to get the pinfal

Winner – Roman Reigns, CM Punk, Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso & Sami Zayn

Roman, Sami & the Usos hug after the match. Punk also hugs The Usos and Sami. Roman continues to stare Punk. Roman finally goes and shakes hands with Punk. Team Roman poses with The Bloodline members signalling the One while Punk does his GTS pose. Punk gets out of the cage and hugs Heyman. He also tells Heyman that he will come calling when he needs that one favor that Heyman promised. Sami and Jey are helping Jimmy to walk as he is hobbling on one leg. Heyman bows at Roman as he gets out of the cage. Team Roman walks to the stage and poses once again to get the pyro going to lose the show.
