STORYLINES

The Bloodline WarGames Match: Solo Sikoa declared himself the Tribal Chief of the Bloodline after Roman Reigns went on a hiatus when he lost WWE Universal Championship to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40. Solo also kicked out Jimmy Uso and added Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa and Jacob Fatu before he kicked away Paul Heyman as the wiseman. Roman Reigns returned at SummerSlam to cost Solo Undisputed WWE Championship match against Cody Rhodes. Cody and Roman teamed up to beat Solo and Jacob at Bad Blood event where Jimmy Uso returned to help them by stopping The Tongans from interfering. Jimmy then tried to bring Jey Uso back into their Bloodline but Solo and his team also tried to do the same. However, Solo’s side ended up costing Jey his Intercontinental title during a match against Bron Breakker on October 21 RAW episode. Jey returned the favor by costing Jacob Fatu & Tama Tonga the WWE Tag Team Championship against Motor City Machine Guns on October 25 SmackDown episode. On RAW October 28 episode, Jey said he would try to make amends with Roman as Roman and The Usos were announced to face The Bloodline in a trios match at Crown Jewel. Sami Zayn also comes into the scene to remind Jey of their earlier issues with Roman. Sami was also seen talking to Solo backstage during that episode of RAW. On SmackDown November 1 episode, Jey told Roman that all of them had to be treated as equals in the group for them to reunite. Roman agreed to it. At Crown Jewel, Solo pinned Roman after Jacob attacked Roman and Solo hit him the Samoan Spike. After the match, The New Bloodline tried to beat up Roman further but Sami ran out to help out The Usos in neutralizing them. As Sami, Roman and The Usos surrounded Solo, Sami ended up hitting Roman with Helluva kick accidentally, which made Roman mad at Sami. On SmackDown November 8 episode, Jey advocated for Sami to be included in their side, which Roman declined, saying Sami was not family. Later in the show, Solo declined Roman’s challenge for a one-on-one match to identify the real Tribal Chief. Solo instead challenged Roman for WarGames match and claimed Sami to be the fifth member of his team. As Roman & The Usos were beaten up by Solo’s Bloodline, Sami came into the ring but hit Solo with a Helluva kick instead. After this, Roman, Sami & The Usos posed together in the ring. On RAW November 11 episode, Sami approached Seth Rollins to be the fifth member for Roman’s team in the WarGames match, but Rollins declined him and also declined Solo’s offer to join his team later in the episode. Bronson Reed joined Solo’s team as the fifth member on SmackDown November 15 episode as he helped them to beat up Roman’s side. As Roman was looking to add the fifth member for his side, he tried calling Paul Heyman but his cell number was declared out of service. Solo ran a distracton to cost Rollins his match against Bronson Reed on RAW November 18 episode. On SmackDown November 23 episode, Solo called out Roman to surrender as he was not able to find the fifth member for his team. With both sides in the ring, Paul Heyman returned and introduced CM Punk as the fifth member.

World Heavyweight Championship Match: Gunther defeated Damian Priest at Summerslam 2024 event to win World Heavyweight Championship. Priest did not get an immediate rematch and got busy in his feud with Judgment Day. On November 4, 2024 RAW episode, Priest won a #1 contender fatal 4-way match against Rey Mysterio, Sheamus and Seth Rollins to earn a title shot. The match between Gunther and Priest was then announced for Survivor Series.

Women’s WarGames Match: On RAW, Rhea Ripley was feuding with Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan and her associate Raquel Rodriguez before getting sidelined since early October 2024 due to an injury. Similarly, on SmackDown, WWE Women’s Champion Nia and 2024 Women’s Money in the Bank holder Tiffany Stratton were fueding with Women’s Tag Team Champions Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill. On November 4 RAW episode, Morgan and Rodriguez teased Bianca and Jade and later interferred in #1 contender women’s battle royal to cause their eliminations. Iyo Sky won this battle royal to set up a future title shot against Liv. Bianca and Jade defended their titles against Nia and Tiffany on SmackDown November 8 episode. Then, they did the same against Liv and Raquel on RAW November 11 episode. Nia and Tiffany joined Liv and Raquel into attacking Bianca and Jade. Noami and Iyo Sky came to aid the tag team champs to neutralize the attack. Nia also defeated Noami to retain WWE Women’s title on SmackDown November 15 episode. This match saw Tiffany trying to inteference but she was stopped by Bayley. Candice LeRae then attacked Bayley. On the November 18 RAW episode, Bianca, Jade, Iyo and Noami confronted Liv, Raquel, Nia, Tiffany and Candice. Rhea also returned to stand with them to declare WarGames match between the two sides. On November 22 Smackdown episode, Jade was attacked backstage by unknown person and put through the windshield of a car. With Bianca’s side still looking for their fifth member, Bianca faced Nia in the WarGames Advantage match on RAW November 25 episode. Bayley helped Bianca to win the match by pulling Nia off the second turnbuckle.

United States Championship Match: Shinsuke Nakamura returned from hiatus on SmackDown November 15 episode to attack United States Champion LA Knight. He once again tried to attack Knight the following week, but Knight avoided it this time. On RAW November 25 episode, it was announced that Knight would defend his title against Nakamura at Survivor Series.

Intercontinental Championship Match: Sheamus had a long standing feud with Imperium’s Gunther and Ludwig Kaiser. Kaiser attacked Bron Breakker on RAW November 18 episode during his title defense against Sheamus to give Breakker a disqualification win. The following week, Sheamus attacked Kaiser when he faced Breakker in a singles match. After the match, Breakker, Sheamus and Kaiser were embroiled in a brawl and the security had to get them under control. RAW General Manager Adam Pearce then announced a triple threat match between them for Breakker’s Intercontinental title.
