Welcome to the live results coverage blog for WWE Survivor Series 2023 event which will be live from Allstate Arena in Chicago, IL, on November 25, 2023.

2 War Games matches lead the match card of the event. Men’s War Games match featured Judgment Day’s Finn Balor, Damian Priest, Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh, with Drew McIntyre. The opposite team featured stars like World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins, Cody Rhodes, Sami Zayn, Jey Uso, and a returning Randy Orton.

Women’s War Games match saw new and improved Damage CTRL consisting of WWE Women’s Champion Iyo Sky, Kairi Sane, Asuka and Bayley. They faced an all-star team of Bianca Belair, Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch and Shotzi. Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley faced Zoey Stark to defend her title.

The other title match saw two of the greatest Intercontinenal Champions clashing in Gunther and The Miz. Dragon Lee was set for his main roster PLE debut as he faced Santos Escobar in a singles match. Tune in below for the complete coverage of Survivor Series 2023 with results and updates.

  • Bianca Belair, Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair & Shotzi defeated Damage CTRL(Bayley, Asuka, Iyo Sky & Kairi Sane) in War Games Match via pinfall.
  • Gunther(c) defeated The Miz in a singles match via pinfall to retain WWE Intercontinental Championship.
  • Santos Escobar defeated Dragon Lee in a singles match via pinfall.
  • Rhea Ripley(c) defeated Zoey Stark in a singles match via pinfall to retain Women’s World Championship.

LIVE UPDATES

The pre-show kicks off with Kayla Braxton, Jackie Redmond, Peter Rosenberg, Wade Warrett and Booker T. They go through the match card before going to the video package for women’s War Games package. CM Punk chants continue in the arena. We are told about the rules of War Games matches now.

We see the video package for Santos Escobar vs Dragon Lee match. Escobar is interviewed backstage now. Attacked is a very small word for what he did. Justice is the right word for all the time he spent under Rey Mysterio’s shadow. These guys call themselves mentors, but they are just gatekeepers. Dragon Lee is just another chapter in the same series. Escobar claims that he is the only one who can go the distance.

Greg Miller joins the pre-show panel as they discuss Rhea Ripley vs Zoey Stark match. We continue with a video package for Gunther vs The Miz match.

The poll results for Women’s War Games Advantage are announced. Babyface team of Bianca Belair, Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair and Shotzi gets the advantage. The close the show with video package and discuss men’s War Games match.


The opening package kicks off the main show. Michael Cole and Corey Graves are on the commentary. As expected Women’s War Games match is opening the card. Bianca Belair is the first one to come out. Shotzi and Flair follow her out.

Damage CTRL(Bayley, Asuka, Iyo Sky & Kairi Sane) vs Bianca Belair, Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair & Shotzi – War Games Match

Becky Lynch directly enters the cage. All 4 women of Damage CTRL are wearing Asuka’s masks. Bayley will start the match against Becky. Becky slam Bayley’s face into the turnbuckles. Bayley tries to slam Becky’s face into cage but Becky blocks it. Bayley manages to send her into the turnbuckle though. Becky comes back with a shoulder tackle. She goes to the top rope. Bayley brings her down. They trade punches. Becky ultimately ges the upper hand and hits a clothesline. She hits a bexploder next.

Bayley sends her into the cage as she uses her momentum against her. Bayley hits a suplex on the steel bridge between the two rings. Bayley lands big forearm shots. Becky sends her into the cage wall and hits basement dropkicks. She puts on the disarmher. Dakota Kai hits her with a kendo stick from outside to break the submission move. Becky picks her kendo stick but Bayley attacks her from behind.

Shotzi enters the match next. Bayley tries to block the door but Shotzi slams it on her face. Shotzi bring in chairs, trash cans and other equipments into the ring. The 3-minute clock starts as Shotzi enters the cage. She kicks away Bayley as she tries to use the chair. She hits a back splash on the ropes by jumping off a chair. Bayley counters a dive with DDT. Becky stops Bayley from using the kendo stick and hits her with it. Bayley is trapped between Becky with kendo stick and Shotzi with a steel chair. She climbs up to top of the cage. Becky and Shotzi follow her up. All 3 women are fighting there as we wait for next member to come in. They hit a stereo clothesline on her.

Iyo Sky enters the match. Iyo brings in a chain and hits her opponents with it. Becky grabs the chain and decks her on the chin. Iyo hits a springboard missile dropkick to attack both opponents at the same time. She hits double knees on them in opposite corner. Bayley gets up. Shotzi fights her. Becky fights off both Bayley and Iyo on the top rope now. They hit her with a double superplex. Bayley asks Iyo to set up trash can in one corner. They set up Shotzi on the top rope.

Bianca Belair joins the match. Bianca hits Iyo and Bayley with her braids. She drops Iyo on a trash in the corner with a powerbomb. Bianca counters Bayley’s use of chair with her braid before hitting a spinebuster. Bianca unloads on Iyo. Bayley tries to pull down with her braid but Bianca hits a double suplex on them. Shotzi hits a missile dropkick and Becky hits a leg drop from the top rope.

Kairi Sane enters the match. She brings out a big size lid or a plate. She slams it to Shotzi’s face before throwing it to Becky and hitting a dropkick. She hits another dropkick on Bianca in the other ring. Iyo hits a body slam on Shotzi. Bayley works on Becky. They pile up chairs on top of Shotzi. Iyo launches Sane in the air for an elbow drop on Shotzi. Bianca fights Sane as she gets into the other ring. Bianca lifts Sane up in military press and throws her into her other partners. Becky and Bianca hits chair shots, but Damage CTRL take control over quickly.

Charlotte Flair enters the match. Flair attacks all the opponents as she gets in. Flair hits chops on Sane, and then on Iyo. She throws Sane into the cage with a fallaway slam. She blocks a tijeras from Iyo and throws her into the cage with a bucklebomb. Bayley and Sane take her down from behind. Flair fights back from the bridging apron. She hits a double blockbuster on Bayley and Sane. Becky and Flair come face to face in the ring for the first time. Iyo and Sane shove them into each other. Flair climbs up to the top rope with Iyo on her shoulder. Iyo has a chain in her hands and she kicks Flair down to the mat. Iyo drops the chain to Dakota on the floor who ties a trash can to it. Iyo uses the trash can to hit a dive to everyone on the floor.

Asuka enters the match with everyone down. Asuka brings in kendo sticks, chair and tables into the ring with some help from Dakota. She also takes in a fire extinguisher. The cage closes and the War Games begin. Damage CTRL is standing tall. The other team is all down. Damage CTRL unloads on their opponents with weapons. Becky and Bianca are chained together and Damage CTRL hit them with stereo dropkicks from 4 sides. A trash can is put on Becky head. Asuka goes to the top. Shotzi follows her up but Asuka spits mists on her. Asuka hits a missile dropkick on Becky with trash can. Becky kicks out of the pin though.

Team Bianca starts to fight back. Bianca and Becky hit stereo powerbombs on Iyo and Sane. Flair hits a moonsault from the top of the cage. She covers Asuka but she kicks out of the pin. Flair and Becky double team on Bayley. They hits a double suplex on Iyo and a double powerbomb on Sane. They hug it out in the middle of the ring after this. Asuka and Iyo roll them up from behind. Falir puts Iyo in figure four. Becky puts Asuka in disarmher. Bayley hits a senton on Flair to break her submission. Becky gets her knees up on Sane as she goes for a senton. Bayley hits a running knee on Becky to break a disarmher on Sane.

Bianca hits KOD on Iyo but Bayley breaks the pin. Bayley hits Roseplant on Becky to save Sane. Shotzi attacks Bayley. Asuka tries to use the mist on Bianca but Bianca counters it with fire extinguisher. Flair goes for a spear on Sane, but Bayley saves her. Shotzi hits a senton on Bayley. Bianca hits a KOD on Bayley. Bayley is set up on a table with Damage CTRL down. Becky puts Bayley through the table with avalanche Man Handle Slam to get the pinfall.

The winning team celebrates on top of the cage.


We see a backstage segment which is essentially a commercial for Ruffles. R-Truth makes his return to screen while Alpha Academy and Pretty Deadly are arguing over what the potato chips are called – crisps or chips. R-Truth makes it clear that they are neither, but Ruffles. He asks Akira Tozawa to do the Ruffle Shuffle. Tozawa shows off the same tiktok dance that Alpha Academy did last week.


Sami Zayn meets Jey Uso backstage and they are concerned that Randy Orton is still not here. Jey says he suspected this and wonders why would Randy help him as he put him on the shelf. Sami says whatever happens, they have a history in War Games as they won it last year together.

Gunther(c) vs The Miz – WWE Intercontinental Championship

Miz starts with calf kicks. Gunther corners him for a couple of chops but Miz escapes quickly to hit back. Gunther hits another big chop to drop Miz this time. Miz gets back up after a while and hits quick chops. Gunther pushes him away. Miz keeps coming back. He lands a big left. Miz leaves the ring and catches Gunther’s leg on the ropes. He slams Gunther’s leg on the apron and then into the ring post. Miz puts on a figure four around the post. The referee counts to 5 and Miz holds onto the lock for full count.

Gunther hits big blows as Miz gets into the ring. He slows down the pace and boots Miz in the corner. Miz fires quick chops but Gunther shuts him down. Gunther hits a body slam. Miz hits quick lefts. Gunther ducks under and hits a German suplex. He drops Miz again with a big boot. Gunther looks for a powerbomb but Miz hits back with punches in electric chair position. Miz hits a hurricanrana to block the powerbomb. Miz hits a kick to Gunther’s leg. He starts to focus his attack on Gunther’s knee now.

Miz hits It Kicks on Gunther’s body including the back of his knee. The onsaulght of It Kicks continues. Gunther picks him up as he comes off the ropes but Miz uses his momentum to hit a DDT. Miz goes for the Skull Crushing Finale but Gunther blocks it and hits a shotgun dropkick. Gunther hits a powerbomb and stacks Miz up but Miz kicks out. Gunther toys around with him with punches. Gunther puts on a sleeper choke.

Miz tries to get to the ropes. He gets his hands on a turnbuckle and hits turnbuckle on Gunther’s knee. He hits a low blow behind the referee as he was busy removing the turnbuckle. Miz hits The Skull Crushing Finale but Gunther kicks out. Gunther puts on a sleeper again. Miz slams his shoulder into the exposed turnbuckle and gets into a pinning predicament. Gunther kicks out at the last moment. Miz fires shots but Gunther runs him over with a lariat. Gunther hits a splash from the top rope. Gunther puts on the Boston Crab. Miz hangs on for a while, but ultimately taps out.

Judgment Day is backstage as Finn Balor brings up how it is PLE main event debut for JD McDonagh. Dominik Mysterio comes in saying that Randy Orton is a no-show. Balor says whether Randy is a no-show or now, they will get the win tonight. Priest says he will go and tell Drew McIntyre about Randy news and also about the other thing they discussed.

Santos Escobar vs Dragon Lee

Escobar comes out first after a video package recapping his heel turn on Rey Mysterio, and then attacking Carlito to take him out of the match. Dragon Lee comes out to a mute reception for his main roster PLE debut.

Escobar dodges a running boot and drops him with quick shots. He stomps on Lee in the corner. He hits a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker next. Escobar puts Lee in a tree of woe in the corner and hits a dropkick. He hits a big chop in the corner before a double knees. Escobar gets Lee to the floor and sends him into the steel steps. Lee traps his leg in between the steps and ring post. Lee fights back and with back elbow. He hits a superkick from the apron.

Lee follows up with a running hurricanrana to drop Escobar to the floor. He follows up with a suicide dive. He hits a running knee back in the ring to get a two-count. Lee drops him to the mat. He goes to the top but Escobar gets up. Escobar hits an enzuigiri before bringing Lee down to the floor with an avalanche hurricanrana to get a two-count.

Escobar stomps on Lee’s back now. He hits a snapmare before attempting to remove Lee’s mask. Lee hangs onto it but Escobar drags him across the ring. The crowd insults Escobar with their chants. Escobar puts Lee on the top rope. He goes for a superplex but Lee blocks it with punches to midsection. Lee hits a diving double stomp as Escobar is in a tree of woe to get a two-count. Lee charges at him, but Escobar hits a superkick to cut him off.

They trade punches as they get up. Escobar unloads with forearms. Lee hits a running knee. Escobar also hits a knee. Lee counters to hit a powerbomb to get a near fall. Lee goes for the Destino but Escobar blocks it and hits a Canadian Destroyer and a Phantom Driver to get the pinfall.

New Day enters the parking lot in a Slim Jim branded car, which is presenting the next match. Damian Priest is seen in the background talking to Drew McIntyre.

Rhea Ripley(c) vs Zoey Stark – Women’s World Championship

Both women have their faces painted. Zoey starts the match with a big punch to enrage Rhea. They go for a quick back and forth before Zoey hits a dropkick to send her out of the ring. Zoey hits a dive on the floor before bringing Rhea back to the ring. Rhea sends her to the apron and hits a big punch. Zoey blocks a suplex on the apron and hits a DDT on the apron.

Zoey hits a springboard corkscrew senton back in the ring. Rhea rolls to the floor. She sends Zoey into the ring post to take over the control. She hits several punches. Rhea gets Zoey up from an odd position to hit a suplex. Rhea pulls both of Zoey’s arm to the back to put her in a stretch. Rhea stomps her back to mat when Zoey tries to break free. Another stomp before a dropkick from Rhea.

Zoey hits a big punch to midsection, a jawbreaker and a big boot. Rhea hits back with a punch and a boot. They get to the top rope. Zoey tries to counter a superplex but she gets the burnt of the move. Zoey tries to up the ante but Rhea hits her with a back elbow. Rhea slams her face into the mat before a Northern Lights Bridge to get a two-count.

Rhea talks trash and toys around. Zoey asks her to hit her more. Zoey slips out of Riptide and hits a back drop. She hits a running knee to get a two-count. Rhea hits a knee strike of her own and follows up with Riptide to get the pinfall.

Backstage, Seth Rollins, Sami Zayn, and Jey Uso are spooked that Randy Orton has not showed up yet. Cody Rhodes comes in and calms them down. We cut to the video package for the match. The cage comes down after it.

Judgment Day(Finn Balor, Damian Priest, Dominik Mysterio & JD McDonagh) & Drew McIntyre vs Seth Rollins, Cody Rhodes, Sami Zayn, Jey Uso & Randy Orton – War Games Match

Drew McIntyre comes out first. Judgment Day comes out together. Drew and Priest still have tension between them. Finn Balor is the one to start the match from their team. Cody Rhodes comes out first, followed by Jey Uso, Sami and Seth Rollins. Rollins tells Cody that he is trusting him on this as Randy Orton has not arrived yet. Seth enters the cage and jumps across the cage to start the match.

The bell rings and Rollins unloads on Balor. Balor fires back with shots. Rollins sends Balor into the steel walls several times. Balor tries to play possum but Rollins is ready for it with more punches. Rollins goes for the buckle bomb but Balor slips out and drops Rollins to the mat. It’s Balor’s turn to send Rollins into the steel cage now. He hits a slingblade after this. Rollins hits a superkick to cut off shotgun dropkick. Rollins goes for a pedrigree on the bridging apron steel, but Balor hits a back body drop. Rollins avoids a Coupe de Grace from Balor and hits a slingblade of his own.

Rollins hits more punches to batter Balor. He hits a running forearm in the corner before a backbreaker and a running knee to get ready for the next entry. JD McDonagh enters the match but Rollins kicks him at the door itself. Balor attacks Rollins from the behind. Rollins whips Balor to the corner. JD hits Rollins with a kendo stick to his face. JD brings a kendo stick for Balor and they start to unload on Rollins.

Balor chokes Rollins with the kendo stick. Rollins hits back at Balor before picking up the stick. JD hits a springboard moonsault on him to cut off his offense. Balor and JD continue to double team on Rollins to continue the punishment. Balor rakes Rollins’ face with the stick now. They trap Rollins’ hands and hit him with a double suplex.

Jey Uso enters the match. Drew McIntyre is watching him with intensity. Jey picks up a steel chair before entering the ring. He unleashes with chair shots before resorting to big rights on both opponents in the ring. He hits enzuigiris after this. JD catches Jey with a Spanish Fly. Drew is seething watching at Jey. Rollins saves Jey from a suplex and they combine to drop Balor and JD with stereo superkicks. They work on respective opponents in separate corners. Balor hits a forearm from the top rope on Balor.

Drew McIntyre wants to go out, but Damian Priest stops him and tells him to stick to the plan. Damian Priest enters the match. Jey and Rollins try to attack him at the same time but Priest fights back. They corner him ultimately but Balor and JD engage them. Priest has baton in his hand and hits Rollins and Jey with it. Priest hits jumping back elbows on both men in the corner. He hits a broken arrow in Jey before a dropping Rollins with a big shot. Priest hits a senton on both opponents next. Priest takes Rollins to the other ring and continues to batter him. Balor and JD beat up Jey with chair shots.

Sami Zayn enters the match. He waits for JD to make the first from outside and pulls out his kendo stick. He slams the door on Balor’s face. He brings out a table to take inside the ring. He hits a big clothesline on Priest as he enters the ring. Sami is fired up as he hits quick stomps on Priest. He hits a blue thunderbomb on Balor. Sami goes to the top rope and then to the top of the cage. JD pulls him down. Sami slams his face into the cage and JD’s groin drops on the ropes. Sami pulls out a pipe from the cage and hits JD with it. Priest tries to fight back but Sami slams him also with the pipe. Sami stomps on Balor in the corner. Jey and Rollins also get up to fight. Jey is beating up Priest. Rollins work on Balor with Sami.

Drew McIntyre enters the match now. Drew hits Rollins with a big shot before belly-to-belly suplex on Sami. He hits an Alabama Slam on Rollins. Drew has his focus completely on Jey now as he gets to the other ring. They trade punches before Jey blocks a DDT and hits a kick to the mid section. Drew hits him with a neckbreaker. Drew drives Jey into the steel wall several times. Balor, JD and Priest work on Sami in the corner. Jey hits a superkick on Drew to block Claymore. Jey and Sami hit 1D on Drew.

Cody Rhodes enters the match. Cody fires big rights on anyone he finds. He hits a clothesline on JD before a back body drop. He follows up by dropping Balor on JD. Cody picks up a bull rope from the apron. Rollins holds the other end of it as they run over JD with it. They hit a low blow on Balor. Rollins argues with Cody asking if Randy Orton is coming or not. Cody says he is coming. They continue to fight.

“Dirty” Dominik Mysterio enters the match. Dominik attacks Cody first before getting his hands on others. He goes for three amigos on Cody but the rest of Cody’s team surround him. They all jump on Dominik to beat him up. Cody takes Dominik to the other ring where Rollins and Sami set up a table in the corner. Rollins goes for a buckle bomb but Judgment Day saves Dominik. Judgment Day and Drew take over control easily with their numbers. Drew and Priest hit stereo chokeslams on Rollins, Sami and Cody. JD hits a moonsault on Sami. Balor hits Coupe de Grace on Rollins and Dominik hits a frog splash on Cody. Priest puts Rollins through a table with Razor’s Edge.

The clock runs out for the final participant to enter, which is Randy Orton. But, it is Rhea Ripley who runs out with MITB briefcase and a referee. She orders Priest’s cash in but, Randy Orton’s music hits finally.

Orton gets into the ring and closes the door to start the War Games match officially. Orton hits array of moves on Judgment Day members starting with JD, Dominik and Balor. McIntyre and Orton stare down from different rings. Drew comes into the ring and they circle around. Priest then attacks Orton from behind to get Orton down in the corner. Judgment Day stomps on Randy for a while. Team Cody also get up and all 10 men start to brawl. Team Cody hit draping DDT on their respective opponents.

Orton gets ready for RKO on Priest but changes his mind to get to Jey. Jey intercepts Priest’s attack on Randy to save him. Randy hits an RKO on Dominik. Cody hits Cody Cutter on Balor. Sami hits Helluva kick on Drew McIntyre. Jey hits an Usos splash on Drew. JD is surrounded by Team Cody now. JD runs to the top of the cage. Rollins and Sami go after him. They throw JD down to set him up for RKO from Randy. Cody hits Cross Rhodes on Priest to get the pinfall.

Team Cody stands tall and united in the ring.

When it seems all is done, CM Punk’s music hits. He makes his way out to the stage. He poses at the stage and hugs some of the fans in the front row. The show goes off the air.
