WWE SmackDown Results & Live Updates – November 4, 2022
WWE SmackDown will be a pre-taped show this week on November 5, 2022. The episode will be the go-home edition for Crown Jewel 2022 event. Rey Mysterio’s title shot against Intercontinental Champion Gunther is going to be the main event.
LA Knight will take on Ricochet in a singles match. Liv Morgan and Sonya Deville will take their rivalry to next level with a No Disqualification match. Natalya will take on Shayna Baszler after Baszler put her to sleep last week.
The final build-up for storylines will play out for Crown Jewel event. MVP has a surprise for Braun Storwman. We might hear from both Drew McIntyre and Karrion Kross. The Bloodline will definitely try to unnerve The Brawling Brutes. All the spoilers are available at this link for interested.

Live Updates
Liv Morgan vs Sonya Deville – No Disqualification
Sonya starts with a big right. She hits knee strikes before going to the floor to bring in kendo stick. Morgan jumps on her from the steel steps. They do a tug of war over stick. Sonya drives Liv’s kidney into the apron a few times. Liv gets back to the ring and Sonya unloads on her with a kendo stick. Sonya chokes Liv using a stick for a while. She keeps control for a while. Liv grabs the stick and breaks it on Sonya. Liv brings out a table but Sonya hits her with a basement slide dropkick. Sonya puts the table back in.
Liv catches her with a headscissors DDT. Morgan hits a suicide dive as Sonya falls to the floor. Sonya tries to escape from the other side and Liv hits her with another dive. Liv slams Sonya’s face to the apron before slamming her into the steel steps. Liv brings out the table again amid the chants of “We want tables.” Sonya hits a pump kick as Liv was busy setting up the table. Sonya tries to hit a German suplex off the apron and through the table. But, Liv holds on to the ropes to counter and then jumps on her back to put Sonya through the table.
Liv hits back elbows to Sonya’s ribs. Sonya catches her with a running knee. She hits a flying knee from the second rope to get a two-count. Sonya throws in some chairs into the ring. Liv ducks a chair swing, hits a kick, and a step-up enzuigiri. She hits a dropkick to the back, back elbow and running knee in the corner. She drops Sonya face first into the mat to get a close two-count. Liv adjusts the pile of chair in the corner. She tries to hit a superplex on the chair. Sonya counters and hits a powerbomb on Liv on the chairs but Liv kicks out.
“This is Awesome” chants from the crowd. Sonya slams Liv’s face into the chairs. Liv blocks Deville’s advocate. She hits codebreaker and then hits Oblivion on the chair to get the pin.
Winner – Liv Morgan
Emma is backstage for an interview. She is glad to be back in WWE and her heart was pounding when she answered Ronda’s challenge last week. Xia Li interrupts her by saying that the only thing she proved that she is weak. Emma nails her with an elbow to drop her.
We get a video package for Roman Reigns vs Logan Paul match. It is also officially announced that Jake Paul will be in Logan’s corner.
LA Knight vs Ricochet
LA Knight comes out and is ranting against the announcer for getting his name wrong a few weeks back. So, he will do the announcement himself. Ricochet attacks him on the floor, hits him with a dive and unloads. Ricochet takes Knight to the ring and the bell rings. Ricochet nails him with quick shots and a dropkick. Knight comes back with punches of his own. Ricochet hits him with an inverted hurricanrana and a dropkick. Knight drops him on the top rope. Knight hits him with elbows. He misses a springboard moonsault. Ricochet nails him with a big knee. Ricochet poses in the middle after Knight rolls to the floor. We cut to a break.
Knight throws Ricochet into the corner as we return from the break. He nails Ricochet with boot and a slingshot shoulder tackle. Ricochet ducks a lariat and a backfist. He hits flying lariat and follows up with some punches. Ricochet hits an uppercut. Knight reverses a whip to send him into the corner hard. Knight hits a jumping neckbreaker to get a two-count. Ricochet hits him with tijeras. Ricochet follows up with some quick moves and hits a springboard crossbody. Ricochet hits a running shooting star press to get a close two-count. Knight avoids a splash from the top. Ricochet slips out of his finisher but Knight rolls him and hangs onto tights to get the pin.

Will The Usos be Longest Reigning Tag Team Champions?
The Usos make their entrance. Jimmy talks about how they will become the longest-reigning tag team champions ever after Crown Jewel. “Ucey” chants from the crowd. Jey says The Brawling Brutes are Twos, and We[The Usos] are One.” Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods come out to the stage. Kofi says they are rooting for The Brutes. New Day get into the ring. Woods says if Usos win by some luck, New Day will be waiting for them when they return. The Usos pose with their belts. The Brawling Brutes attack the Usos from behind. Brutes and New Day stomp on the Usos. Solo Sikoa and Sami Zayn run out to fight back. The Bloodline fight back. Butch tries to use shileligh but The Bloodline overwhelm him with numbers. Solo hits him with spinning solo. The Bloodline stand tall.
Natalya vs Shayna Baszler
They lock up to start the match. Natalya puts on a side headlock. Baszler reverses it to a pin attempt. Baszler hits a shoulder block. She goes for her signature bicep stomp but Natalya counters with roll up for a two-count. Baszler whips her to the corner. Natalya avoids a tackle. Baszler hits a rising knee and bicep stomp. Natalya rolls to the ropes and Shayna works her arm on the ropes. Natalya trips her and unloads with punches. She hits a basement dropkick. Baszler rolls her up for a two-count. Natalya hits a discus lariat to get another two-count. Baszler puts on the Kirifuda Clutch and gets the submission.
Winner – Shayna Baszler
After the match, Ronda sends Natalya into a rising knee strike from Baszler.
A video package is now aired for Drew McIntyre vs Karrion Kross match at Crown Jewel.
MVP comes out to the ring and talks about Omos vs Braun Strowman. He says he has used his connections to brings some opponents for Braun Strowman tonight. He brings out five opponents for Strowman. These 5 guys make their entrance but Strowman runs them over from behind. He lays them out one by one. Strowman heads towards MVP. He snatches MVP’s cane and breaks it over his knee. He throws MVP into the apron and then into the barricade. Strowman takes MVP to the ring hits a running powerslam. He hits more running powerslams.
Gunther(c) vs Rey Mysterio – WWE Intercontinental Championship
Mysterio avoids getting cornered by Gunther a few times. Gunther pins him to the corner but Mysterio avoids a big chop. Gunther catches his crossbody and slams him to the corner. Gunther hits a chop before hanging him upside down to boot him into the ringpost. Gunther pulls Mysterio to the floor and slams him to the ground. We cut to a break.
Gunther hits a powerbomb on the apron as we return. Mysterio beats the countdown but Gunther welcomes him back with two back-to-back powerslam. Mysterio hangs onto Gunther’s body to block a third powerslam. Mysterio counters with a crucifix. He starts to create some momentum with some quick moves. Gunther catches her springboard but Rey puts on a sleeper hold. Gunther slings him to the mat. Mysterio puts on the sleeper once again. Gunther is down to his knees. Gunther powers up and climbs to the second rope and jumps on his back to slam Mysterio. We cut to another break.
Gunther is in control as we return. He rakes Mysterio’s face and tries to rip off his mask, but had to stop with referee’s countdown. Mysterio fires back with punches from the corner. Gunther picks him up for powerbomb but Rey hits punches and hits a seated senton. He follows up with a bulldog. Mysterio starts to create momentum again with quick moves. He hits a seated senton from the top and springboard moonsault to get a two-count. Mysterio hits a dropkick to set up and hit 619. Mysterio goes to the top but Gunther gets up and throws him from the top.
Gunther goes to the top and Mysterio meets him there. Mysterio hits headbutts but Gunther pushes him away. Mysterio goes for a hurricanrana from the top. Gunther goes for powerbomb from the second rope but Mysterio counters it with a hurricanrana to get a near fall. Mysterio counters another powerbomb with sunset flip to get another near fall. Gunther hits a shotgun dropkick and a powerbomb but Mysterio kicks out of the pin. Gunther hits a chop. Mysterio drops him to the ropes with a hurricanrana but Gunther hits back with a clothesline. Gunther hits another clothesline to get the pin.
