Welcome to the live results coverage for WWE SmackDown November 10, 2023 episode live from Nationwide Arena in Columbus, OH.

Two matches were announced for the show in advance. LA Knight tried to recover from a loss to Roman Reigns by taking on Grayson Waller. Bobby Lashley had targeted Carlito with a singles match on the show.

The show also dealt with the fallout from Crown Jewel and build-up for Survivor Series 2023 event. What kind of role did Kairi Sane play? Did we see a women’s War Games match? What happens next on SmackDown? Tune in below for the results.

RESULTS

  • Bobby Lashley defeated Carlito in a singles match via pinfall.
  • Dragon Lee defeated Cedric Alexander defeated Cedric Alexander in a singles match via pinfall.
  • LA Knight defeated Grayson Waller in a singles match via pinfall.
  • Damage CTRL(Kairi Sane, Bayley & Iyo Sky) vs Bianca Belair, Charlotte Flair & Asuka ended in a no-contest.

LIVE UPDATES

Kevin Owens makes his entrance as he is the guest commentator for the evening with Michael Cole and Kevin Patrick. Corey Graves misses the show as Carmella and Graves had a baby earlier this week. Owens is wearing a tie over a sleeveless T-Shirt.

Who is to Blame?

Rey Mysterio comes out with LWO’s Santos Escobar, Zelina Vega, Cruz Del Toro and Joaquin Wilde. Rey takes the mic and says Logan won the US title from him. But, without Logan using brass knuckles, he would be standing here as the US champ. So, he will do everything possible to become the champion once again. Carlito’s music hits and he comes out. He says there is no one who wants to see Rey as champion more than him, but Rey needs to blame Santos Escobar for his loss who left the knuckles on the floor to be used by Logan.

Escobar does not want to be accused like this. So, he leaves the ring and goes through the crowd. Zelina Vega and Rey Mysterio follow Santos. Cruz Del Toro and Joaquin Wilde talk to Carlito. Bobby Lashley makes his entrance with the Street Profits.

Carlito vs Bobby Lashley

Carlito ducks a shot in the corner but Lashley punches in his throat. Lashley hits a clothesline and some shoulder thrusts in the corner. He hits some forearms shots before a running tackle. Lashley throws Carlito’s face into the turnbuckle. He goes for a Hurt Lock but Carlito goes not let him lock his hands and hits a jawbreaker.

Carlito hits some quick shots, a knee to the face and a clothesline. Lashley goes for a suplex but Carlito counters him. A clothesline sends Lashley to the floor. Carlito follows him. Lashley slams Carlito’s face into the steel steps and then throws him into the barricade. Lashley drives him into the ring post next. We cut to a break.

Carlito is on the top rope. He fights off Lashley and hits a flying shoulder tackle from there. He goes for a backstabber but Lashley holds onto the ropes. Carlito uses a low bridge to send Lashley to the floor. Carlito hits a crossbody on him. Lashley gets back to the ring. Carlito follows him but he is held back by Montez Ford. Del Toro and Wilde fight The Profits but Dawkins is able to tackle them.

Santos Escobar runs out to save Wilde and Del Toro. Dawkins tackles him into the barricade. Ford hits an enzuigiri on Carlito from the apron behind the referee. Lashley hits Carlito with a spear to get the pinfall.

After the match, The Street Profits and Lashley beat up Carlito. Santos Escobar is on the apron and decides against helping Carlito. Rey Mysterio runs out with a steel chair to force them to go off. Rey and Santos argue now. Rey ends up shoving Santos. Santos attacks him as he was checking on Carlito. Rey fights back but then apologizes to Santos for the misunderstanding.

Santos pushes him into the ring post. He hits a big tackle against Rey with his leg trapped between the post and steel steps. Other LWO members come out to talk to Santos, but he leaves. He was screaming all the way that it was not his fault.


After the break, Santos Escobar is leaving the arena with his bag. Cathey Kelly asks him why did he attack Rey. Santos says Rey had it coming.

Bayley’s Kairi’s Misunderstanding

Bayley comes out after we see a recap of Kairi Sane’s return to help out Iyo Sky to beat Bianca Belair. Bayley says she had a plan for Iyo Sky and Dakota Kai, and helped them become tag team champions, and Iyo became Women’s Champion also. But, she did not understand why Iyo had to take help from Kairi Sane. Iyo, Dakota and Kairi comes out. Iyo says she also had a plan, and she has to thank Kairi for helping him retain the title.

Iyo asks isn’t that what Bayley wanted. Bayley sends us to a video package from 3 years ago when she attacked Kairi to put her out of action. Bayley says Iyo should understand why she is concerned. Dakota tries to calm down Bayley. Kairi says she respects Bayley as a leader of Damage CTRL, and that she forgives Bayley. She asks for a hug. Bayley says she does not do hugs anymore. Iyo and Dakota force her into a group hug for all 4 of them.

Bianca Belair comes out to the stage. She says she can’t forgive Damage CTRL for costing her the match against Iyo. She says she is gonna whoop all 3 of them. Bayley laughs at her as she is alone. Bianca says a lot of people do not like Damage CTRL. Charlotte Flair and Asuka come out to stand beside Bianca. The commentary team confirms a 6-woman tag team match for later tonight.

Dragon Lee vs Cedric Alexander

Lee ducks Cedric as they run the ropes. Lee hits a dropkick. Cedric hits back with a springboard tackle. Lee rolls to the floor. Cedric hits a suicide dive on the floor. Back to the ring, Cedric hits a tornado DDT next. He keeps up with attacks. Lee avoids a corner splash and fights back with some quick action from himself. He also hits a dive on the outside. Lee hits a sitout powerbomb to get a near fall.

Lee charges at Cedric but Cedric counters with back body drop which sent Lee face first into the turnbuckle. They trade big shots. Cedric hits a kick to the face. Lee hits a German suplex. Cedric counters with standing spanish fly to get a near fall. Lee connects with a super-kick. Cedric counters with a big move himself. Lee hits Destino to get the pinfall.

Knight Ain’t Done!

LA Knight comes out. Knight says Crown Jewel did not go exactly as he expected. It is being sad that he did not live upto fans’ expectation. Knight says he came an inch close to beating Roman Reigns. But, he lost due to Jimmy Uso who cost him the match. He is not going back to the drawing board also, and he will continue to fight The Bloodline.

Grayson Waller comes out and says Knight is blaming everyone but himself for his loss. He says the truth is Knight is just not the guy. He wonders if he really thinks he belongs in the ring with Roman Reigns. Knight asks the fans if Grayson Waller Effect sounds like an STD. He says Waller is questioning his ability when he was dropped by a movie artist. They continue to argue for a while until Knight hits him with a microphone. He dumps Owens’ water on him in front of the commentary table. We cut to a break.

LA Knight vs Grayson Waller

Knight starts with quick shots, a whip to the corner and a suplex. Waller shows off some athleticism but Knight slams him into the mat again. Knight snaps his arm on his shoulder. Waller rolls to the floor. Knight drops him on the apron. He hits a shoulder tackle off the ropes to get a two-count. Waller counters with big right to take over control. He beats up Knight for the next minute. Knight knocks him out of the ring and slams his face into the announce table. Waller turns it around and takes over control to hit a suicide dive to take us to a break.

Waller is stretching Knight’s leg around the turnbuckle as we return. Waller hits more shots to stop Knight from fighting back. Waller hits an elbow drop from the middle rope to get a two-count. Knight hits a back elbow. He blocks a stunner and hits a back body drop. He creates some momentum with quick moves. He hits a DDT to get a two-count. Waller hits some strikes to his face. Knight catches him with a body slam. He hits an elbow drop and BFT to get the pinfall.

After the match, Waller is down on the floor and Kevin Owens uses an illustrator to show how miserable Waller is. He recaps from two weeks ago how he punched both Austin Theory and Waller in one go, explaining the whole thing with Illustrator.


After the break, we see a recap of Solo Sikoa beating John Cena at Crown Jewel.


Austin Theory and Grayson Waller come out to try and humiliate Kevin Owens by throwing water on him and shove him back. Owens attacks them back on the ramp when they were returning. The brawl continues for a while.

Damage CTRL(Kairi Sane, Bayley & Iyo Sky) vs Bianca Belair, Charlotte Flair & Asuka

Bianca hits a couple of body slams on Bayley to start the match. Bianca hits a handspring moonsault. Bayley rolls to the floor. Bianca hits a dive on the floor. Asuka and Flair clear Sane and Iyo to the floor. We cut to a break.

Flair catches Iyo’s crossbody and hits a body slam as we return. Bianca tags in and Sane comes in from the other side. Bianca hits a delayed vertical suplex. Iyo is knocked off the apron by Bianca when she tries to interfere. More distractions from Damage CTRL which leads to Sane and Iyo hitting high-low on Bianca on the apron.

Sane hits quick tackles and punches to create some momentum. Bayley tags in. Bianca fights back in the corner. Bayley sends her to the other corner. Bianca fights Bayley off and goes towards her corner but Iyo pulls Flair off the apron. Sane runs to stop Bianca from the tag. Bayley finally pulls Bianca back to the middle. Bianca finally hits Bayley with a spinebuster and goes to tag Asuka. Asuka pulls out of the tag. Bianca is surprised. Asuka spits green mist on Bianca and then hits a roundhouse kick. Asuka, Sane & Iyo hug in the ring. Bayley is also surprised but elated at the turn of event as she joins them in the hug. Flair comes in to hit a big boot, but number’s game catches up to her. The referee calls the match.

Shotzi runs out to help Flair and Bianca but Damage CTRL beat them all up.
