WWE SmackDown Results February 16, 2024, Winners, Rock & Roman
WWE presented SmackDown episode of February 16, 2024, from Delta Center in Salt Lake City, UT, which featured The Rock and Roman Reigns appearing for an important segment on the Road to WrestleMania 40.
4 qualifier matches also took place for Elimination Chamber matches. Kevin Owens faced Dominik Mysterio while Logan Paul faced The Miz in the men’s qualifiers. Noami took on Alba Fyre, and Zelina Vega faced Tiffany Stratton in the women’s qualifiers.

RESULTS & UPDATES
The show opened with the footage of The Rock’s SUV entering the arena earlier.
Kevin Owens defeated Dominik Mysterio in men’s Elimination Chamber qualifier. Owens was in control of the match when R-Truth came out thinking that Owens was The Miz. This allowed Dominik to hit a suicide dive on KO. After the break, KO created momentum and hit a cannonball. He countered three amigos before Dominik dropped him on the ropes to hit 619. Dominik asked R-Truth to hand him a chair if he wanted to be in Judgment Day. R-Truth picked up the chair and sat on it on the floor. Owens then hit Dominik with a superkick and a pop-up powerbomb to get the pinfall.
Backstage, Drew McIntyre was in an interview and said he did not care who would be in Elimination Chamber and they are all superstars, but he would not have his moment stolen. LA Knight came in and started arguing with him. Things kept escalating and referees and crew members had to come in to take things under control.
We see footage of Roman Reigns coming to the arena earlier today and hugging Jimmy Uso, telling him that they would fix things tonight.
Tyler Bate was pitching a new tag team name to Pete Dunne when Dominik came in and claimed that nobody can beat Judgment Day. Bate challenged Dominik and R-Truth to face them next week. Dominik walk away ranting on R-Truth not being in Judgment Day.
Tiffany Stratton defeated Zelina Vega in women’s Elimination Chamber qualifier. Vega got distracted by the presence of Legado Del Fantasma in the front row which gave Stratton the chance to take control heading into the break. In the final moments again, Elektra Lopez came ringside to distract Vega once again. Stratton took advantage and hit Prettiest Moonsault Ever to get the pinfall.
Backstage, rest of The OC were trying to talk to AJ Styles. AJ got mad when Karl Anderson said AJ forgot from where he came. Gallows and Michin kept them separated.
AOP(Akam & Rezar) defeated Javier Bernal & Morris Boreau in tag team match. This was a squash match with AOP getting the win within a minute.
Logan Paul was interviewed backstage where he claimed he would win his first match on SmackDown.
We got a video package of Damage CTRL where they said no one is ready for Damage CTRL.
We got a recap of Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins segment from RAW this week.
Logan Paul defeated The Miz in men’s Elimination Chamber qualifier. Paul poked at The Miz’s eyes behind the referee’s back, but Miz kicked out of the pin. The Miz rallied and got his hands on Logan’s knuckles, only for the referee to warn him about disqualification. Logan then caught a kick from Miz and dropped his groin on the ropes before hitting a leg sweep finisher to get the pinfall.
Tiffany Stratton went to Nick Aldis’ room and started talking trash to Liv Morgan and Bianca Belair. Jade Cargill, who was in a meeting with Aldis, told them all not to fight while she was having a meeting. Aldis intervened and told them to separate.
Noami defeated Alba Fyre in women’s Elimination Chamber qualifier.
Nick Aldis came out to the stage and introduced Bron Breakker as SmackDown’s newest signing.
Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns made his entrance with Solo Sikoa, Jimmy Uso and Paul Heyman. Roman said he wanted to be honest and called People of Utah as idiots and dumbs. He didn’t want to ruin tonight because when The Rock would come out, they might start to chant catchphrases. He called tonight history making and the greatest in WWE. He responded to “Cody” chants saying that he was the guy who destroyed everything. Roman said tonight is history making as The Rock is announced as the member of The Bloodline.
The Rock’s music hit and he came out. “Rocky s##ks” chants were ongoing. He announced that Utah state record of all time attendance for indoor arena. The Rock went full heel with name calling and insults to crowd. He said the fans had Roman Reigns vs The Rock in their hands, but they had flush it down the toilet with their “We Want Cody” chants. Rock said Roman defeated Cody last year, and Cody now wanted a rematch. He warned Cody that he would do everything in his power to make sure Cody walk out of WrestleMania as a loser. The Rock then said, “if you smell, what the Bloodline is cooking”. He joined Roman Reigns in raising hands with the rest of the Bloodline.
