WWE SmackDown episode of February 4, 2022, will be the fallout show from Royal Rumble and the first episode on the road to WrestleMania. The event will air from Paycom Center in Oklahoma City.

Ronda Rousey is expected to announce her WrestleMania opponent while we can see more on Roman Reigns vs Brock Lesnar rivalry. Drew McIntyre will also return to SmackDown with his episode.

Heyman Tells All!

The show starts with replay of Brock Lesnar losing WWE Championship at Royal Rumble after Roman’s interruption, and how Brock later won the Royal Rumble match. Roman makes his entrance with Paul Heyman and the Usos. We now go to the replay of Seth Rollins vs Roman match from Royal Rumble.

Paul Heyman takes the mic and says he is here to acknowledge what happened at Royal Rumble. There is no conspiracy to acknowledge and there was no attempt to make Lesnar look like fool. Heyman recalls how he told Roman that he needed to be protected from Lesnar, and how he got fired and got Superman punched. When COVID took Roman, he got Lesnar a place in WWE Championship match at Day 1. Everything would have been good with Brock on RAW and Roman on SmackDown.

But, the first thing Lesnar does is challenge Roman for a title vs title match. Heyman realizes that he has screwed up Roman Reigns. Then, Roman the GOAT slayed the beast and he understood that he did not need to protect Roman from Brock but protect Brock from Roman. Heyman says Roman offered him a hand of acknowledgment. Heyman continues and goes on to acknowledge Roman Reigns as his Tribal Chief.

Heyman asks the crowd that this is there chance to acknowledge Roman now. Just as Roman raises his title, Goldberg’s music hits and he comes out to the ring. Goldberg stares at Roman before taking the mic. He takes the mic and says he acknowledges Roman…. as his next victim at Elimination Chamber.

Ridge Holland vs Ricochet

Holland hits a knee to the midsection and an uppercut. He throws Ricochet to the corner before Ricochet tries to fire back some shot. Holland hits him with a body slam. He hits another body slam before whipping Ricochet from corner to corner. Ricochet avoids another slam and sends Holland to the floor. Holland sidesteps and drops Ricochet on the apron. Cesaro and Sheamus start to argue on the floor. Ricochet takes advantage of the chaos and hits codebreaker for the pin and the win.

Winner – Ricochet

Ricochet & Cesaro vs Ridge Holland & Sheamus

Sheamus sends Cesaro to the apron and hits his signature blows to the chest. Sheamus hits an Irish curse backbreaker and Holland comes in for an elbow drop. Cesaro counters Sheamus and brings in Ricochet. Ricochet hits some quick moves on Sheamus. Cesaro tags in and deals with Holland. Holland is sent to the floor, but Ricochet misses a move there. Holland slams Ricochet on the floor.

Cesaro hits an European uppercut. Sheamus tries to take him to the top but Cesaro hits him with a dropkick. Cesaro hits a superplex on Sheamus but Holland has taken the blind tag. He comes in and hits Northern bridge to get the pin.

Winner – Ridge Holland & Sheamus

Jimmy Uso vs Erik

Erik starts with some punches and a scoop and slam. He hits an Urinage for a two-count. He hits a ripcord knee. Erik goes to the top. Jey runs a distraction and deals with Ivar when he tries to attack him. Jimmy brings Erik down and hits Usos Splash to get the pin.

Winner – Jimmy Uso

Aliyah vs Natalya

Natalya slams Aliyah in the corner and stomps on her. Aliyah counters a move into a sunset flip for a two-count. Aliyah hits a hurrincanrana. She hits a Thesz press and unloads with punches. She hits a bulldog for a two-count. Natalya hits a discus lariat to get a two-count of her own.

Natalya takes Aliyah to the floor and slams her into the barricade. The referee starts to count to 10. Aliyah turns it around on the floor and slams Natalya into the barricade. She gets into the ring just as the referee reaches 9. Natalya is down on the floor as the referee completes the 10-count.

Winner- Aliyah(by count-out)

Drew McIntyre on the Warpath

Drew McIntyre comes out to the ring with his sword. Drew says it is so good to be back. He recalls the headlines that Drew is going for surgery and whatnot. A doctor looked him in the eyes and told him that he will not make it to Royal Rumble. But, he went for sessions six times a week and got fit to return. Happy Corbin comes out to the stage.

Corbin asks him was it all worth it. Corbin recalls how Drew got beaten up by them, only to return and got thrashed by Brock Lesnar. Madcapp Moss tries to attack Drew from behind but Drew felt him and points his sword at him. Drew asks Moss to tell a joke. Moss tells a joke and Drew laughs at him for a while before hitting him with a Claymore. Drew says he will do this every week and warns Corbin.

We see the replay of how Sami Zayn crashed Jackass Forever premiere and got shoved by the Cattle Prod from Johnny Knoxville. Sami is backstage with Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville. He asks them how they can allow the footage to be played on TV. He then asks for his Intercontinental Championship title shot since it is two months that he has become the #1 contender. They confirm the match for February 18 SmackDown. Sami leaves and Natalya storms in. She asks for a pinfall or submissions only match against Aliyah next week. The officials agree.

Shinsuke Nakamura vs Jinder Mahal – Intercontinental Championship Contenders Match

Sami Zayn comes out on the commentary for this match. Jinder brings Nakamura down and takes shot at the back of head. Nakamura fights back with forearms and hits a dropkick. Nakamura hits a rolling German Suplex. Jinder drops him on his knees and works on him near the ropes. Nakamura hits some forearms but Jinder nails him with a high knee.

Mahal takes more shots at Nakamura before putting on a shoulder lock. Nakamura gets to his feet but Jinder nails him with an elbow. Nakamura hits a Pele kick and a dropkick. Nakamura hits Kinshasa to get the pin.

Winner – Shinsuke Nakamura

Naomi is backstage with Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville. She asks Sonya to meet her in the ring in 5 minutes. Sonya says she has a lot of work tonight. Naomi asks for a match next week. Sonya scambles for an excuse before saying that Naomi already has a match against Charlotte Flair for SmackDown Women’s Championship. Naomi asks Adam to confirm it and Adam confirms the title match.

Los Lotharios(Humberto & Angel) vs New Day(Big E & Kofi Kingston)

New Day with quick start against Angel as they double team on him. Humberto tries to interfere which gives them a chance to take control against Big E. Big E quickly comes back and tags in Kofi. Angel distracts Kofi and Humberto takes control. Angel whips Humberto into Big E on the apron to drop him.

Kofi fights back on the apron. He kicks at Humberto who is on the floor. Kofi goes for a springboard move on Humberto on the floor but Angel cuts him off with a superkick. We cut to a break.

Kofi gets his feet up on a moonsault. Big E gets a hot tag and hits belly-to-belly suplexes on both opponents. He hits a standing splash on Angel. Angel counters Big Ending with a backstabber. Big E hits an Urinage. Kofi and Big E hits double team blockbuster but Humberto breaks the pin. Humberto takes down Big E on the floor. Angel and Humberto hit a double-team missile dropkick on Kofi for a near fall.

Kofi drops Humberto from the apron. Big E comes back to his corner and tags in. Kofi drops Angel and Big E hits him with Big Ending and Kofi finishes off with a splash.

Winner – New Day

Ronda’s Choice

Charlotte Flair comes out to the ring before the break. After the commercials, Sonya Deville is in the ring with Charlotte. Sonya says Becky Lynch has told her that Ronda Rousey has chosen Becky as her WrestleMania opponent. Flair says she is not suprised by Ronda’s choice since a Mom vs Mom match would be easier for Ronda. She wonders who should be her opponent for WrestleMania main event then. She chooses Sasha Banks.

Ronda Rousey comes out to the ring. She says why are they believing hearsay that Becky told Sonya told bla bla. Ronda says she won the Royal Rumble. She says she did not fly halfway across the country for nothing. She came here to teach her daughter the family business of ass-kicking. Ronda tells Flair that she is not special, and she will see her at WrestleMania.

Flair tries to play up that she is in the WrestleMania main event and then tells Ronda that this title is her baby and it is prettier than Ronda’s daughter. Ronda is about to attack Flair but Sonya stops her. Flair goes to attack Ronda but she ducks. Flair gets to the floor while Sonya jumps on Ronda’s back. Ronda drops her with a Samoan drop before putting her in an armbar. Sonya taps out. Ronda leaves her and stares down at Flair as the show ends.

Reigns vs Rollins to Continue?: Roman Reigns vs Seth Rollins match at Royal Rumble had an amazing storyline where Rollins used his mind games to put Roman under peril. Technically, Rollins did not lose this match. So, will he get a rematch?

Naomi & Sonya Deville Feud: It looks like Sonya Deville is not in a mood to let go off Naomi as she was the cause of Naomi’s elimination from Royal Rumble match. What will be Sonya’s next step to irritate Naomi?
