Bobby Lashley responds to loss to Kofi Kingston

MVP is in the ring and he introduces WWE Champion Bobby Lashley. Lashley makes his entrance with some ladies as we see the replay from last week – Lashley issuing open challenge where Drew McIntyre was not allowed, and Kofi defeating Lashley. Lashley is in the ring and MVP asks for an applause for the WWE Champion. MVP talks about WWE going back on road in July before starting to discuss Drew McIntyre. Lashley says he defeated Drew at WrestleMania and then at WrestleMania Backlash. So, he is a no go now.

McIntyre’s music hits and he comes out with a mic. He says that he would have defeated Lashley if not for MVP. He wants one on one rematch with Lashley. McIntyre taunts Lashley a bit and asks whether Lashley has guts to face him and also talks Lashley losing to Kofi. Lashley says he lost to Kofi last week due to McIntyre. McIntyre says it’s all excuses. New Day’s music hits and Kofi comes out to the stage with Xavier Woods. He shouts how he defeated Lashley last week.

Lashley asks him whether he has thanked McIntyre for it. McIntyre says Kofi is welcome. Kofi argues and says he did not ask for McIntyre to be in his corner and answered to the open challenge since he never got his rematch for WWE Championship while McIntyre has got another opportunity. Kofi continues for a while until Adam Pearce comes out and says it will Kofi vs Drew for the right to face Lashley at Hell in a Cell PPV. We cut to the commercial break.

Back from the break, we see a promo from Braun Strowman plug-in WWE’s return to the road.

Drew McIntyre vs Kofi Kingston – Winner Faces Lashley at Hell in a Cell

Kofi and Drew lock up. Drew pushes Kofi to the corner before the referee breaks them up. Kofi goes to a headlock. They jockey for position. McIntyre tus waistlock into an arm twist. Drew ends taking Kofi down woth a shoulder tackle. Kofi leapfrogs Drew as he runs the ropes. Drew catches his back elbow with a tackle. Kofi hits a dropkick, STO and a springboard splash for a two-count. Lashley and MVP are on the stage with ladies on the VIP Lounge.

McIntyre catches Kofi’s kick and hits a chop. Drew follows with a neckbreaker and stomps on his hand. Kofi counters a powerbomb to send Drew out of the ring and hits him with a dive. Kofi avoids being sent into the steel steps and jumps on Drew’s shoulder to rain down punches. McIntyre hits a reverse Alabama slam on Kofi on the floor. We cut to a break.

Drew is still in control as we return. He hits a few chops in the corner to get a two-count. Drew hits a belly-to-belly suplex to toss Kofi across the ring. Kofi rolls to the floor and McIntyre drops him on the barricade. McIntyre stomps on him as they come back to the ring. Drew hits a delayed vertical suplex to get a two-count. Drew puts on a shoulder and neck stretch. Kofi gets to his feet and decks McIntyre with multiple punches. Kofi hits a missile dropkick now. Kofi hits a double handed chops and another dropkick. Kofi tries to put on Guillotine but Drew overpowers him to hits a suplex.

Kofi gets his boot up in the corner and gets a two-count. McIntyre avoids Kofi in the counters and sets up for a superplex. Kofi headbutts him down and goes for the crossbody. Drew catches him and hits Michonoku driver for another two-count. Drew taunts Lashley and Lashley comes to the ring side as we cut to a break.

Drew hits a back suplex from the top as we return from the break to get a two-count. Kofi tries to fight back but Drew rains down on him with punches. Kofi turns futureshock DDT into a pin attempt. Drew hits a spinebuster to get another two-count. Drew hits a powerbomb and gets another two-count. Kofi counters to sends Drew into the ring post. Kofi goes to the top and hits boom drop from there to get two-count. Drew charges at him and Kofi sends him out to the floor. Kofi hits a dive which sends Drew into Lashley who was at the commentary. Back to the ring, Kofi looks to captalize but MVP and Lashley hit the ring to attack both men. The referee calls for a DQ.

Result – Double DQ

Lashley rains down with punches on both Kofi and Drew. Drew hits Lashley with the Claymore kick. Lashley goes to the floor where MVP helps him to his feet. Drew and Kofi recover in the ring as we cut to the commentators who recall what has happened with Charlotte Flair last week.

Earlier today, Rhea Ripley cut off Charlotte Flair and taunts her on losing to Asuka last week and says it will happen again today. They continue to argue until Nikki Cross comes up and says she could defeat either one of them. Flair says she already has match otherwise she would have show Nikki her place. Rhea says Flair looking down on everyone is the reason everyone hates her. Rhea says she is down to face Nikki later tonight.

Rhea Ripley makes her entrance as we cut to the break.

Rhea Ripley vs Nikki Cross

Nikki is in the ring as cut back to the ring. It is a “Beat the Clock” challenge match and Rhea has two minutes to defeat Nikki. Nikki charges as the bell rings. Rhea no-sells Nikki’s attack fop a while. Nikki avoids a body slam and hits an headbutt before hits a splash from the top. Nikki charges at her in the corner. Rhea counters with a dropkick now with just 30 seconds left on the clock. Rhea rains down with punches in the corner now. Rhea continue to beat up Nikki in the corner and the clock runs down. Nikki is declared the winner.

Winner – Nikki Cross

Nikki celebrates on the floor and runs around the ring in jubilation. Charlotte Flair makes her entrance for her match. She applauds Nikki for her win. We go to another break.

Back from the break, we get a brief promo for Damian Priest before cutting to replay of how Drew vs Kofi ended in a Double DQ. Drew and Kofi go to Adam Pearce and ask for the title match. Pearce says they will have a rematch next week and the winner will face Lashley. Kofi and Drew argue for a while before we cut to Asuka’s entrance.

Asuka vs Charlotte Flair

Charlotte gets on a headlock to start with and continues to be in control for a while. Asuka changes to a waistlock and drops Flair for a stalemate. Flair manages to wrap her legs around Asuka for a submission. They go back and forth for a while now. Asuka hits a hip attack before Flair cuts off the second with a chop block. Flair starts to work on Asuka injured knee. We cut to a break.

Flair avoids the armbar. Asuka tries to get in position for the Asuka lock but Flair reaches the floor. Flair once again starts to work on Asuka’s knee to get control. She hangs Asuka upside on the turnbuckle and kicks at the knees against it. Flair goes for a moonsault but Asuka avoids it and hits a German suplex. Asuka rallies with some kick and a knee to the face. A hip attack gets Asuka a two-count.

Flair slips to the floor and slams Asuka’s leg to the ring post. Asuka hits a basement slide dropkick. Flair sends her into the announce table as we cut to another break.

Asuka counters a big boot with a knee strike of her own. Asuka goes for the Asuka lock but Flair prevents her from locking in. Asuka goes for the lock again and Flair manages to take both of them out to the floor. They trade strikes as they return to the ring. Charlotte hits a spinning back elbow to get control. Flair once again starts to work on the injured leg. Asuka manages to sends Flair in the corner and hits another kick. Charlotte hits a back breaker and sets up for the moonsault.

Asuka avoids the moonsault from the top but Flair hits a a standing moonsault to get a near fall. Flair is frustrated now. Asuka goes for the Asuka lock and Flair is able to get her shoulders down while Asuka has her lock on and gets the three count for the pin.

Winner – Charlotte Flair

Charlotte goes to the floor immediately to celebrate.

We cut to backstage where Bobby Lashley is with his ladies. Someone from WWE crew comes in. MVP tells him to call Lashley as The Almighty. Crew member tells Lashley that Adam Pearce has called for him. Lashley and MVP look at each other confused. We cut to a break.

A brief promo from Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke on WWE’s return to touring.

Lashley and MVP are with Adam Pearce backstage. Pearce tells them that he has sanctioned Drew vs Kofi for next week and if either of them would go to ringside, Lashley will be suspended for 90 days without pay. Lashley gets angry but MVP stops him from attacking Pearce and tells him to look forward to Hell in a Cell.

Cedric Alexander vs Shelton Benjamin

We get the recap of the feud between Cedric and Shelton starting from their eviction from Hurt Business. Shelton is already in the ring for the match. Cedric makes his entrance. He takes the mic at the ramp and starts a promo. He recalls how they were RAW Tag Team Champions and being in Hurt Business. Cedric asks him why they were removed from Hurt Business. It is because Shelton is a washed up guy and he was a collateral damage. Cedric says he is young and fresh and has a ton of time ahead of him. Cedric asks how many years does Shelton has left in him. Shelton got lucky two weeks back, but Cedric will beat him this week.

Cedric gets into the ring finally and the bell rings. Shelton charges but Cedric goes to the floor right away. We cut to a break.

Shelton is dominating as we come back from the break. Shelton hits punches and kicks. Cedric fights back with some big blows but Shelton cuts him off the ropes with a back elbow. Shelton continues to be in control and throws Cedric to the floor. Cedric is sent into the barricade now. Cedric avoids a body slam and a low-bridge sends Shelton to the apron. Cedric decks him and goes for the springboard stunner, but Shelton catches him. Cedric grabs the ropes to avoid a move. Shelton hits some punches and goes for a move from the top. Cedric takes him down with a hurricanrana to get a two-count.

Cedric rains down punches on Shelton’s head and puts on a headlock. Shelton gets back to his feet. Cedric hits pump knee and a dropkick for another two-count. Cedric keeps him on the floor for a while. Cedric hits some kicks on the chest while keeping the arm twisted. Shelton starts to hulk up and turns Cedric upside down with a big kick. A clothesline after an Irish whip and a spinebuster from Shelton. Cedric counters a pin but Shelton hits the spinning heel kick to get another two-count. Shelton hits two back to back German suplexex. Cedric avoids the third one and hits the Neuralyzer from the springboard to get the pin.

Riddle vs Xavier Woods

We see the recap of RK-Bro tag team journey so far, until Randy’s match against Kofi last week and Riddle shoving down Woods after he helped Kofi win with a distraction. Riddle makes his entrance before we go to a break. Woods enters after the break.

Woods takes Riddle to the corner to start. Riddle throws Woods in the corner after a stalemate. Riddle with a takedown before they come to another statemate. Woods goes for the waistlock but Riddle goes for the arm twist. Riddle gets on the Kirifuda clutch but Woods gets his leg on the ropes quickly. Woods goes for the takedown but Riddle puts on the Guillotine. He turns it into another lock but Woods gets his leg on the ropes again.

Riddle hits a German suplex from deadlift. Riddle goes to the top and Woods decks him before hitting a suplex. Riddle counters and goes for the armbar. Riddle goes for the monkey leap but Woods turns it into an impressive suplex. Riddle counters a belly to back suplex. They trade big strikes now and ends up taking each other down with clotheslines at the same time. Riddle’s headscissors sends Woods down to the floor. Riddle hits sidekicks on Woods at the apron. Woods gets Riddle in the Fireman’s carry before dropping him to the apron. The referee checks on Riddle as we cut to the break.

Riddle hits a suplex before Woods got his knees up on the Broton. Woods hits some big chops now. Woods hits the hurricanrana and a missile dropkick in quick succession to get a two-count. Riddle hits the ripcord knee. They counter the piledrivers a few times before Woods hangs Riddle in the tree of woe and hits a dropkick. Woods drops Riddle on his knees to get a near fall. Woods goes to the top again. Riddle decks him and hits more big blows on the back. Woods headbutts him down and hits a sidekick from the apron.

Riddle lifts him up from the apron to hit a German Suplex to get a near fall of his own. Riddle misses the floating bro and Woods hits a couple of big forearm. They counter each other before Riddle hits an RKO to get the win.

Winner – Riddle

Riddle celebrates the win in the ring and calls out Randy Orton a couple of times. We get the replay of Elias and Jaxson Ryker attacking AJ Styles during the match last week. AJ vs Jaxson Ryker is next.

Rhea Ripley vs Charlotte Flair WWE RAW Women’s Championship match is announced for Hell in a Cell 2021 PPV.

AJ Styles vs Jaxson Ryker

AJ Styles comes out by himself. Omos is not with him. Jaxson Ryker also comes out alone. The bell rings and AJ hits a dropkick and more blows to get a two-count on Ryker. AJ fights out of the corner now but Ryker hits a big punch. Ryker hits big suplex but AJ kicks out at two. Ryker puts on a bear hug. AJ gets free and sends Ryker to the floor to dropkick him through the ropes. AJ goes to bring him back to the ring. Elias attacks him from behind out of nowhere. Elias hides in the timekeeper’s area. Ryker takes advantage to get the pin.

Winner – Jaxson Ryker

After the match, Omos comes down and catches Elias hiding. Elias and Ryker try to run to the bacl. Omos chases them and Elias slips at the stage. Omos sends Elias into the LED board on the stage. Omos walks back down to the ring to check on AJ now and helps him up.

Sheamus(c) vs Humberto Carrillo – WWE United States Championship match

Sheamus dominate the initial moments of the match. Sheamus drops Carrillo with a suplex before putting on a shoulder stretch to keep him grounded. Carrillo fights back to his feet and hits a few punches. Sheamus brings him down with a shoulder tackle before beating Carrillo down some more. Carrillo slaps him from the mat and hits more forearms as he gets back to his feet. A big kick from Carrillo and a dropkick sends Sheamus to the floor. Humberto hits a suicide dive to drive Sheamus into the announce table. Humberto takes Sheamus back to the ring and hits an elbow from the top. Sheamus gets a roll-up and hangs onto the tights to get the pin. The referee was on the other side and could not see that Sheamus uses the tights.

Winner – Sheamus(retains US title)

After the match, Sheamus attacks Carrillo and stomps on him in the corner. Ricochet runs in and hits a missile dropkick. Carrillo hits a springboard kick. Ricochet and Carrillo continue to attack Sheamus for a while. Sheamus rolls out to the floor now. Ricochet and Carrillo celebrate in the ring.

Tamina & Natalya(c) vs Shayna Baszler & Nia Jax – WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Match

We see how Reginald was injured by the ring explosion last week during the Women’s Tag Titles match and Shayna making Natalya tap out on SmackDown. Sarah Schreiber is backstage with Baszler, Reginald and Nia Jax. Jax says last week’s win was a fluke and it won’t happen again. Baszler tells Nia that they lost because she got distracted by Reginald. Shayna says Reginald is messing up things for them with explosion and having nightmares. Baszler tells Reginal to hang back and not be in their corner. Baszler tells Reginald that if she him ringside during her matches again, she will give him a real reason to have nightmares. Jax and Baszler walk off.

Tamina and Nia start the match but Nia tags out to Shayna. Shayna goes and pokes Natalya in her corner. Natalya asks Tamina to tag her in. They lock up and Shayna twists Natalya’s arm to the back. Natalya hits a snap suplex after coming out of an arm twist. Shayna hits a shoulder tackle before starting to work Natalya again. Shayna puts on the sharpshooter. Natalya escapes it quickly. Shayna ducks a discuss lariat and hurts Natalya’s arm. Nia tags in and beat up Natalya for a bit. Shayna comes back in and was going for the stomp at the arm when Reginal enters. Shayna misses the stomp after the distraction and Natalya hits a German suplex to send us to the break.

Back from the break and Baszler has Natalya down but she tries to fight up and out. Baszler drops her for a 2 count. Baszler grounds Natalya by her arm now. Natalya tosses Baszler and then scoop slams her. Jax and Tamina tag in at the same time for a pop. They unload with strikes. Tamina with a big uppercut. Jax scoops her but Tamina slides down and then superkicks her for a 2 count.

Tamina goes to the top but Nia decks her. Tamina escapes from the Samoan drop but Nia gets her to the mat for a two-count. Shayna tags in and beats up Tamina in the corner. Jax tags in to hit a splash. Shayna comes in for a two-count. The referee separates her from Tamina in the corner. Tamina decks Nia down to the floor. Tamina hits big punches to Shayna and brings her down. Natalya tags in and monkey flips Shayna into a superkick from Tamina. Nia comes in to break the pin. Nia and Tamina fight to the floor now. Nia sends Tamina into the barricade now.

In the ring, Shayna avoids a sharpshooter and gets Natalya into an inside cradle. However, Reginald has distracted the referee and Shayna could not get the pin. Shayna drops Natalya as the referee returns. Shayna shouts at Reginald for costing her the match and tells him go back. Reginald was walking to the back but an explosion catches him in the face as he reaches the stage. Shayna gets distracted now and Natalya rolls her into an inside cradle for the pin.

Winner – Natalya & Tamina(retain Women’s Tag Team Titles)

After the match, we see Reginald holding his eyes on the stage, still hurt from the big explosion. Natalya and Tamina celebrate with the titles as their music hits and we go to replays of the finish. Baszler runs up the ramp and checks on Reginald now. She helps him up but then grabs him by his collar. We see Jax getting up at ringside, watching what is going on with Baszler and Reginald. Baszler calls Reginald a son of a b—h and says she’s tired of him interfering in her matches. Baszler says we’ll see how Reginald does next week when she faces him in the ring and if he has the balls, she will make him wish he was in the explosion. Baszler shoves Reginald down and storms off as RAW goes off the air.
