WWE Mondy Night RAW episode of December 20, 2021, will heat up the WWE Championship rivalry between Big E, Bobby Lashley, Kevin Owens, and Seth Rollins even more. The event will take place at the Fiserv Forum, Milwaukee, WI, US, with just two weeks to go to WWE Day 1 PPV.

Three matches are announced for the show which will see Finn Balor taking on Austin Theory, Bianca Belair vs Doudrop rematch and Dolph Ziggler challenging United States Champion Damian Priest. Additionally, Cutting Edge segment will return to RAW with Maryse as special guest and Bobby Lashley will also get a segment.

Bobby Lashley’s Promo: Last week, Bobby Lashley entered himself in the WWE championship match at WWE Day 1 to make it a Fatal 4-Way match. He will be addressing his opponents at RAW this week. What does he has to say to them?

Bianca Beliar vs Doudrop: Doudrop took offense on Bianca Belair getting all the chances and glory even after losing title matches to Becky Lynch. This resulted in a series of matches between them. Doudrop ran away from the first match and lost via countout while Bianca pinned her clean in the second match. Another rematch is booked for this week.

Finn Balor vs Austin Theory: After getting unusual training from Vince McMahon in the last two weeks, Austin Theory has interfered and cost Finn Balor a couple of matches. This week, Balor will get a chance to get revenge on Theory as they collide in a singles match.

Cutting Edge: WWE Hall of Famer Edge will bring back his Cutting Edge talking segment and will have Maryse as his special guest. Last week, we saw Miz using Maryse as a shield during his brawl with Edge. This led to Maryse getting angry at the Miz and slapping him. Edge will try to dig more into it.

US Championship Contender Match: After a few open challenges, Damian Priest will face Dolph Ziggler this week in a non-title championship contender match. Will Ziggler be able to make a big scalp in Priest?

Bobby Lashley’s Promo

The show opens with a recap from last week on how Lashley defeated Kevin Owens, Rollins and Big E to be added to the match at Day 1. Mixed reaction but mostly boos as Lashley and MVP enter. MVP asks the crowd to show their respect to Lashley for pulling out a herculean task last week. MVP continues to praise Lashley for a while and says that this is Lashley’s era. WWE Champion Big E makes his entrance.

Big E says the Lashley that he knew use to do everything by himself, but he was surprised when MVP attacked him last week during the match. Big E wonders whether Lashley does not have cojones anymore. Lashley tells Big E he would have beaten Big E anyway. He tells MVP that people are questioning him due to his act. Lashley recalls how MVP said last week that he could take out Big E and now wants to show it to everyone.

Lashley gets to the floor and leaves MPV alone to deal with Big E. Before Big E and MVP could engage, Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins attacks Lashley on the floor. They get Big E to the floor and slams him into the barricade. Big E and Lashley come back and sends Rollins & Owens away.

Bianca gets interviewed and her match with Doudrop is dubbed as the final chapter. Bianca says the final chapter is gonna end like every other chapter with a win for her.

Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins are backstage. Owens is telling Rollins that they have to take out Lashley from fatal 4-way because he is not normal. Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville come to them and inform them about the tag team match with Big E & Lashley facing them both.

Bianca Belair vs Doudrop

Bianca looked for KOD early but Doudrop rolls to the floor. Doudrop drops her face to the ropes. Bianca tries to tackle her but Doudrop drops her with her tackle. Doudrop with big blows to Bianca’s back. Bianca hits a dropkick in the corner and follows with some shoulder thrusts. Doudrop catches Bianca’s crossbody and slams her to the mat.

Doudrop misses a senton. She gets her knees up and Bianca hits a moonsault. Bianca rolls to the floor. Doudrop follows her. Bianca fights back and hits a spinebuster on the floor. We cut to a break.

Doudrop slaps Bianca as she gets to the top. Bianca slips out and goes for powerbomb but Doudrop is too big for her. Doudrop hits a corner splash to get a two-count. Doudrop is showing her frustration. Doudrop tosses Bianca around a few times. Bianca fights back with punches and a dropkick. Doudrop scoops her up but Bianca slips out and hits a crossbody from the top. Bianca gets a two-count after moonsault.

Bianca unloads with punches from second rope. Doudrop counters with a powerbomb. She misses the Vader bomb. Bianca gets her up on the shoulder and hits KOD for the pin and the win.

Winner – Bianca Belair

We get the recap of Austin Theory attacking Finn Balor two weeks back and how he distracted Balor last week to cost him the match. Kevin Patrick catches Theory backstage and asks him about Vince McMahon, Theory says there is a reason that Vince has interest in him. He believes McMahon sees promise in him and looks at him as the next WWE Champion.

Finn Balor vs Austin Theory

Balor is angry at Theory and attacks him as soon as the bell rings. Theory slips to the floor and slam Balor to the apron. Back to the ring, Balor with some ground and pound. Theory slips to the floor and drops Balor on the ropes. Theory with some ground and pound now. He puts on a chinlock. Balor gets to his feet but Theory does not let go off him. Balor gets to his feet again but Theory hits a kick to midsection.

Balor rolls through a sunset flip and hits a dropkick. Theory goes to the floor. Balor goes for a running kick but it gets caught. Theory slams Balor to the apron and then drops him to the floor. We cut to a break.

Theory is in control as we return. Balor comes back with a big boot, sling blade and double stomps to the chest. Balor with stomps near the ropes. Theory comes back with a Connor’s roll dropkick. Theory misses move in the corner and Balor hits gamengiri. Balor gets to the top but Theory trips him and then hits a Spanish fly. Theory covers Balor but gets his phone for a selfie.

Balor counters with a crucifix pin for a two-count. Theory throws away his phone and Balor drops him with dumbell drop. Balor hits Coupe de Grace for the pin and the win.

Winner – Finn Balor

We see the replay of how Miz tried to use Maryse as a shield when Edge attacked him, and how Maryse was pissed at him for that act. We cut to Miz talking with Omos backstage. AJ Styles comes up and gets interviewed with Omos. AJ talks about being on the same page with Omos now and they will be back in the title picture by the end of the year. Omos says he can’t wait for it.

We cut to a break as the Miz makes his entrance.

MizTV with AJ Styles & Omos

Miz starts by apologizing to Maryse about last week. He then welcomes AJ Styles & Omos. Miz tries to stir things up between AJ & Omos and asks about the recent grubbings between them. AJ says they are on the same page again after some misunderstandings. AJ praises Omos and says he could become a tag team champion on his own. AJ suggests Omos that they should take all the titles. Miz says he has heard other things from Omos.

AJ counters with a question and asks Miz what kind of man puts the mother of her children in harm’s way. Miz says Omos confided in him and told him that he is sick and tired of carrying AJ, and he is holding him back. Miz adds that the mutual respect is actually one-sided and that Omos told him that he is not the next Andre the Giant, but the first Omos. AJ gets off his seat and asks Omos if that is true. Before Omos could answer, The Mysterios’ music hits and they come out for the match.

AJ Styles & Omos vs The Mysterios(Rey Mysterio & Dominik)

AJ and Dominik start the match. Dominik an armdrag. AJ hits back with a backbreaker on his knees. AJ puts on the abdominal stretch on Dominik. Dominik rolls him up for a two-count. AJ brings him down but Dominik manages to slip away to tag in Rey. Rey hits quick moves on AJ and hits 619.

AJ gets his knees up on the final splash. AJ goes to tag in Omos but he is not interested and looks in the other direction. Rey rolls AJ up for the pin.

Winner – The Mysterios

After the match, AJ asks Omos what he did there. Omos pushes AJ. He gets into the ring and AJ unloads on him with punches. AJ goes for the phenomenal forearm but Omos grabs him and slam him to the mat. Omos takes the mic and tells AJ that next time they see each other will be in a match.

Austin Theory is backstage outside Vince McMahon’s office. He thinks about getting into the ring but then decides against it.

Randy Orton vs Chad Gable

Gable starts with an arm twist. Orton reverses it. Gable rolls over and manages to trip Orton. Orton puts on a headlock and takes Gable to the mat. Gable gets to his feet quickly and hits an armdrag. Orton whips him to the other corner before Gable hits back with armdrags. Orton knees at his midsection and throws Gable to the floor. He catches Gable with a kick on the ropes as he was returning and then goes for the draping DDT. Gable counters but then runs into an RKO. Orton gets the pin.

Winner – Randy Orton

After the match, Otis attacks Orton. Orton attempts to hit RKO on Otis but he manages to avoid. Orton tries RKO a couple of more time and Otis avoids them again. Orton leaves to the floor as Otis hulks up in the ring.

We see Lashley in the locker room. MVP comes up and asks if he can trust Big E. Lashley says if Big E so much as looks at him funny and he will beat him up. MVP wanted to talk about what happened between them in the ring, but Lashley says he has to get ready for the match.

Dana Brooke and Reggie are hanging out somewhere to enjoy Christmas lights. Akira Tozawa comes up up dressed as an elf. He asks for R-Truth but gets Tamina instead. Tamina pushes Tozawa aside and starts chasing Brooke. R-Truth is dressed as Santa Claus. Brooke and Tamina fight for a while. Reggie handles R-Truth while Brooke runs away. Tamina yells at R-Truth and Akira Tozawa for ruining this.

Damian Preist vs Dolph Ziggler – United States Championship Contender Match

Ziggler hits a DDT as we return. Preist rocks him with a hard right as he was going for a superkick. Preist fires quick kicks in succession. Preist attacks in the corner and then drops him with a clothesline. Preist hits broken arrow next for a two-count. Ziggler is dropped off the top. Priest is sent to the apron and Robert Roode sweeps him to the floor. Priest hulks up and attacks Roode. The referee counts him out.

Winner – Dolph Ziggler(via count-out)

Preist gets back to the ring to attack Ziggler. Ziggler runs away. Preist goes to the floor and grabs hold of Roode to hit him with the Reckoning.

Finn Balor gets interviewed by Kevin Patrick. Austin Theory attacks him and drops him on a production crate. Theory takes a selfie with Balor as the segment ends.

Austin Theory goes to Vince McMahon backstage. Theory explains that he lost to Balor but then he attacked him and got him back. Vince says he knew that he could not beat Finn. He gives Theory a bunch of advice before setting up a rematch next week with Balor.

Cutting Edge with Maryse

Edge welcomes us to the segment and then quickly brings out Maryse. Edge asks her about last week. Maryse says she is here just to use this as a platform to talk and not air their dirty laundery. Edge asks her if she could not have gone to MizTv for that. Maryse rants about Miz not letting her talk anywhere.

Edge says he did not think that this is going to be a therapy session but asks Maryse to go on. Maryse rants about Miz not giving her any importance despite her contributions to the family, taking care of kids and house. Maryse says if Edge would have hit her last week, who would have taken care of her kids.

Maryse asks Edge that if he would have done this to his wife. Edge calls bullshit on Maryse and says this is a ploy by Miz so that he could get complacent and Miz could jump on him. Miz’s music hits but he comes from behind to attack him. Edge was ready for it but Maryse hits him with his bag and Miz drops him with the Skull Crushing finale. Miz and Maryse kiss after bringing down Edge as the segment ends.

Rhea Ripley vs Queen Zelina

Zelina enters and takes the mic. She rants on the crowd for a bit as they boo her. Zelina enters the ring.

Back and forth to start the match. Rhea picks her up and then hits a big kick. Rhea puts Zelina on the top and unloads. She goes forthe superplex but Zelina slips out and takes Rhea’s arm with her. Zelina hits a knee to the face for a two-count. Rhea hits the riptide out of nowhere to get the pin and the win.

Winner – Rhea Ripley

Big E is interviewed backstage and asked whether he and Lashley could co…. Big E stops the question and says he has been in best tag team but it not about that tonight. Big E says it is about setting tone for Day 1 and he just has to lay his hands at Rollins and Owens. Lashley shows up and Big E warns against MVP getting involved. Lashley tells him that he did not need MVP last week and will not require him this week also. He says he will make sure MVP is not ringside for the match.

Liv Morgan Makes Statement

Morgan takes the mic and says Becky attacked her last week before accepting the rematch. She tells us how she planned on attacking Becky in her training facility but it did not go as she planned. We see the video where Liv Morgan tries to someone like Becky in the ring. She stops upon realizing that it is not Becky. Becky instead appears behind her and attacks her with the kendo stick. Morgan hits back with a dropkick and then unloads with kendo stick.

We cut back to arena and Liv says Becky is so threatened by her. Liv says she is relieved and she was really happy on attacking Becky. She points out that Becky was ready to sacrifice one of her student without any hesitation. Liv claims that Becky can do whatever she likes, but at Day 1, she will become the RAW Women’s Champion.

Becky comes out to the ramp. She says that student might have broken her elbow, but everyone has to pay their dues to this profession. Becky says she showed her students a lesson that anyone could get lucky once but at Day 1 she will retain her title. Liv claims again that she will become the RAW women’s champion. Liv asks Becky to get into the ring again. She throws the kendo stick to Becky for her to use it. Becky gets irritated and heads to the back.

Big E & Bobby Lashley vs Kevin Owens & Seth Rollins

Big E knees at Owens to start the match. Owens is sent to the floor. Lashley tags in and runs over Owens. Rollins tries to attack Big E but gets cut off. Lashley runs over Rollins on the floor.

Lashley is beating up Rollins as we return. Rollins goes for a suplex but Lashley hits his a delayed vertical suplex. Lashley goes for the Hurt lock but Rollins slips out quickly. Lashley is sent to the floor and Owens tags to attack him on the floor. Owens hits a senton in the ring. Owens keeps Lashley in a headlock. Rollins comes in for a double suplex. Rollins puts on a chinlock. Lashley gets to his feet and drops Rollins face first.

Big E and Owens tag in. Big E drops Owens with belly to belly suplex. He clotheslines Rollins out of the ring. Big E hits Urinage. Rollins distracts him as he was looking for Big Ending. Rollins hits a splash on Big E and hits a suicide dive on Lashley on the floor. Owens hits a senton on Big E but WWE Champion kicks out of the pin. We cut to another break.

Owens misses a moonsault as we return. Rollins and Lashley tag in. Lashley hits a neckbreaker, German suplex, and a corner clothesline. Rollins hits a big boot before Lashley hits dominator slam. Owens breaks the pin. He cuts off Big E’s charge. Lashley goes for the powerbomb, but Rollins avoids it. Lashley hits Big E with a spear accidentally. Lashley hits Owens with a spear and get the pin.

Winner – Bobby Lashley & Big E

After the match, Rollins hits a stomp on Lashley. Owens recovers and joins Rollins in attacking Lashley on the floor. They run over Big E with steel steps and does the same to Lashley. Rollins helps Owens to hit Lashley with a powerbomb on the apron. Owens then holds up Lashley as Rollins hits him with a stomp on the steel steps. Owens and Rollins shake hands in the ring as the crowd boos them. They hug each other in a big way and celebrate their dominance. Big E and Lashley are down as the show comes to an end.
