WWE NXT Stand & Deliver 2024 is a PLE under NXT banner. It took place on April 6, 2024, during WrestleMania 40 weekend at Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, PA. This is the fourth event under the Stand & Deliver series, all of which have taken place during WrestleMania weekend.
Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams clashed in a grudge match in the main event. Ilja Dragunov defended NXT Championship against Tony D’Angelo. Lyra Valkyrie defended NXT Women’s title against Roxanne Perez. Meta-Four(Noam Dar, Oro Mensah, Lash Legends, Jakara Jackson) are announced as the hosts of the show.

STORYLINE
NXT Championship: Carmelo Hayes laid claim for NXT Championship and called out Ilja Dragunov to meet him face-to-face on NXT February 27 episode. After a brawl between them to open the show that night, a contract signing segment was setup later for match at Roadblock 2024 event. Tony D’Angelo also staked his claim to get a title shot during that segment. He proposed to earn the title shot by facing Carmelo. NXT General Manager Ava was also present in the segment and announced Tony vs Carmelo match at Roadblock with the winner facing Ilja Dragunov at Stand & Deliver. Tony defeated Carmelo at Roadblock to get the title shot.
Trick Williams vs Carmelo Hayes: Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams were long term allies but the partnership came to an end on August 22, 2023 episode as Trick had his own singles ambitions. He was slotted into a #1 contender match between Carmelo, Baron Corbin and Dijak on NXT October 17 episode, but was attacked backstage to rule him out of the match. The identity of the attacker remained a mystery. Carmelo was speculated as the attacker for a long time which also caused some issues between Trick and Carmelo. However, things turned back to being amicable between them by the end of 2023. Trick won Iron Survivor Challenge at Deadline 2023 event to earn a shot at NXT Championship. He was supposed to get the title shot at New Year’s Evil 2024, but Dragunov’s injury postponed the match. Carmelo then convinced Trick to enter into Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic 2024 tournament whose final was scheduled for Vengeance Day 2024. After Dragunov returned from his injury, he announced that Trick would get his NXT title shot also at Vengeance Day. Trick and Carmelo qualified for the finals of Dusty Rhodes Classic at Vengeance Day, but failed to win. Trick also failed to beat Dragunov for NXT title. After the match, Carmelo attacked Trick with a steel chair to turn on him. On February 6 NXT episode, Carmelo revealed that he was the one who attacked Trick back in October 2023, and said he attacked Trick since he forgot his position and tried to usurpe him. Carmelo was set to face Tony D’Angelo at Roadblock 2024. Tony used Trick’s music to distract Carmelo and won the match. After the match, Trick came out to attack Carmelo. The following week, Trick challenged Carmelo for a match at NXT Stand & Deliver. The match was made official two days later.
NXT Women’s Championship: Roxanne Perez won the battle royal to earn a shot at NXT Women’s title against Lyra Valkyrie at Vengeance Day 2024 event. During the match, Lola Vice cashed in her Breakout Tournament contract and made it a triple threat match. Lyra pinned Vice to win the match and retain the title. Perez grew frustrated and feuded with Vice for the next couple of weeks before turning her attention back at Lyra and the title. Lyra was being helped on every step by her friend Tatum Paxley. After Lyra and Paxley lost WWE Women’s Tag Team title match at NXT Roadblock against the Kabuki Warriors, Perez attacked Lyra. The following week, she demanded a rematch against Lyra for the title. Perez defeated Paxley on March 19 NXT episode. Lyra returned after the match to attack Perez. Later, she asked NXT General Manager Ava to book her against Perez at Stand & Deliver.
NXT Tag Team Championship: NXT announced that Bron Breakker & Baron Corbin would defend NXT Tag Team title at Stand & Deliver. Their challenger was announced to be determined via a three-way tag team match. The OC(Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows), Axiom & Nathan Frazer, and LWO(Joaquin Wilde & Cruz Del Toro) qualified for this match. Breakker and Corbin faced Alpha Academy’s Otis & Akira Tozawa on NXT March 26 episode with the stipulation that Alpha Academy would be added to the tag title match at Stand & Deliver if they won. Breakker and Corbin won this match to keep the match a straight tag team match. Axiom and Nathan Frazer won the #1 contender three-way tag team match to get the title shot.
NXT North American Championship: Oba Femi defeated Brooks Jensen to retain NXT North American Championship. Jensen’s friend Josh Briggs challenged Femi for the title match. Dijak also wanted a title shot and made his intentions clear to the champion. Briggs was pitted against Duke Hudson on NXT March 26 episode which he won. Dijak defeated Shawn Spears in a singles match on the same episode. Femi announced later in the episode that both Briggs and Dijak had proved themselves worthy of a title shot, so, he would defend the title against both of them at Stand & Deliver.
