WWE NXT Results February 27, 2024, Updated Card, Highlights
WWE NXT episode of February 27, 2024 event will feature the return of The OC in action on the brand as they face Malik Blade and Edris Enofe.
Carmelo Hayes and NXT Champion Ilja Dragunov will come face-to-face before their prospective match at NXT Roadblock next week. Noam Dar will face any one member of No Quarter Catch Crew to defend Heritage Cup. Von Wagner will face Lexis King in a singles match.
Two more singles match will see Dijak facing Luca Crusifino, and Kelani Jordan taking on Kiana James. Tune in below for results and updates from WWE NXT February 27, 2024 episode.
RESULTS & UPDATES
Ilja Dragunov came to the ring and called out Carmelo Hayes. Hayes came out at the ramp and has some security guards with him. Hayes challenged Dragunov to a title match and gave him until the end of the night. Dragunov ran out and laid out the security guards.
Gigi Dolin & Jaida Parker came to Ava at the same time and got into an argument. Ava booked them to a match.
Kiana James defeated Kelani Jordan in a singles match.
Roxanne Perez was miffed at losing another opportunity at the NXT Women’s Championship. Jakara Jackson came in and made fun of Perez. This turned into a brawl between them.
The Good Brothers(Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows) defeated Edris Enofe and Malik Blade in a tag team match.
After the match, Andre Chase & Duke Hudson came out looking to fight The Good Brothers. Nathan Frazer & Axiom also wanted a match against them. LWO(Joaquin Wilde & Cruz del Toro) attacked Gallows and Anderson from behind. NXT Tag Team Champions Bron Breakker & Baron Corbin were watching all this from the platform above the crowd.
NXT North American Champion Oba Femi met with Ava backstage, where he wanted to know the name of his next victim. Ava said that she was still sorting out a challenger for him. Ilja Dragunov came in and had a stare down with Femi. But, he wanted to talk to Ava.
Roxanne Perez defeated Jakara Jackson in a singles match.
Thea Hail was talking to Jacy Jayne & Jasmyn Nyx backstage, telling them that she was not able to speak with Riley Osbourne after their date. Kiana James & Izzy Dame came in and talked to Jayne about the sales of the calendar.
Dijak defeated Luca Crusifino in a singles match.
Joe Gacy came out. Crusifino pushed Dijak out of the ring as he was busy trash talking. Gacy attacked DIJAK, leading to a brawl.
Tony D’Angelo was backstage talking to Angela Rizzo & Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo. He told Stacks to “get him”. No explanation on specifics on who “him” was.
Noam Dar & Oro Mensah were interviewed backstage where he said that he was ready for any one of the members of No Quarter Catch Crew.
Lyra Valkyrie came out to the ring and called Tatum Paxley to give her surprise after she obeyed her order last week. Lyra revealed Tatum that they both would challenge for Women’s Tag Team titles next week at Roadblock against The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka & Kairi Sane).
Ridge Holland interrupted them and apologized to everyone for his actions in the last few weeks. The lights went out and more messages appeared on the screen. After this, a mystery man hit Holland with a chair from behind. It was revealed to be Shawn Spears.
Brooks Jensen cut off Oba Femi backstage and challenged him for a match for NXT North American Championship.
Carmelo Hayes was interviewed backstage where Hayes said to Ilja that if there was no contract, he would not appear in the main event segment tonight.
Von Wagner(w/ Mr. Stone) def. Lexis King in a singles match. King hit Wagner with a chop block in the knee, but a distraction from Mr. Stone allowed Wagner to roll up King. After the match, King attacked Wagner’s leg some more. Stone came into the ring and King dropped him with his finisher.
We got a video package for The Kabuki Warriors as they return to NXT next week on Roadblock.
Lyra Valkyria & Tatum Paxley were talking about The Kabuki Warriors backstage before they were interrupted by Jaida Parker. Arianna Grace tried to get everyone to use words and not hands, but she failed to get her message across.
Dijak was backstage where Joe Gacy attacked him once again after being camouflaged as a cameraman. Ava & other officials tried to stop the fight.
Jaida Parker (w/ OTM) defeated Gigi Dolin in a singles match. The finish involved Arianna Grace getting into the ring to say that the locker room needed to stop fighting. Gigi went for a strike on Parker, but Grace blocked it to make them to stop fighting. Dolin then hit Grace with a headbutt. Parker attacked Dolin from behind before she hitt the Hidden Blade to get the pinfall.
We got a vignette of photoshoot of the beach where “See You Soon” was written on the sand.
Charlie Dempsey from No Quarter Catch Crew was revealed to be challenging Noam Dar for Heritage Cup.
Charlie Dempsey defeated Noam Dar(c) to win NXT Heritage Cup Championship by 2-1 score in round 5. Dempsey got the first pinfall in the first round using a crucifix transitioning into a modified reverse jacknife. Dar controlled the next two rounds before getting a pinfall in round 4. Dempsey made a comeback in round 5 before distractions came from both sides and Dempsey finally got a pin on Dar to win the match.
NXT Champion Ilja Dragunov and Carmelo Hayes met in the ring for what was supposed to be a contract signing for their title match next week at Roadblock. Hayes brought the security guards with him once again. Ava was sitting at the middle table. Tony D’Angelo came out and staked his claim for the title. Hayes threatened to get him thrown out by the security. Tony told the security to leave and they followed his instructions immediately to Carmelo’s surprise. Tony then proposed a #1 contender match next week and asked Ilja what he would prefer. Ilja asked Ava to book #1 contender match next week with the winner facing him at Stand & Deliver. Hayes pushed Tony into Ilja to knock him back before putting Tony through the table.
Baron Corbin & Bron Breakker were interrupted by The Good Brothers backstage. The Good Brothers made their title intentions clear. Corbin mocked them by saying that it was funny when AJ Styles slapped Anderson.
