Welcome to the live results page for WWE NXT May 30, 2023 episode, which was be live from WWE Performance Center once again.

A weaponized steel cage match between Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne was set to open the show. The match brought friends turned enemy rivalry to a conclusion. This was the only match to be made official for this week’s show in advance.

We also saw the follow-up on Tony D’Angelo’s arrest apart from the storyline regarding Drew Gulak and Charlie Dempsey’s tenure as guest faculty in Chase U. Who would be the next challengers for the likes of NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes, Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton, North American Champion Wes Lee and tag team champs Gallus?

Gigi Dolin vs Jacy Jayne – Weaponized Steel Cage match

The show opens with a video package for the rivalry between Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne. Jacy jumps on Gigi at the stage during her entrance. She beats her down the ramp and slams the door on her a few times before they enter the ring. Jacy starts with belt shots in the ring. Gigi hits back with can lid. Jacy slams her face into the steel chair. Gigi hits a kick and hits a crossbody to put Jacy through a chair.

Gigi puts a trash can over Jacy’s head and kicks at it. She hits a dropkick against the trash can. Gigi sets up trash can in the middle but instead uses a thorne-laden bat to hit Jacy. Jacy ducks a shot and hits Gigi with a spinebuster on the trash can. We cut to a break.

Jacy chokes Gigi with a chain. Gigi sends her into the corner to break free. Gigi with quick shots before she hits a Russian Leg Sweep to get a two-count. Gigi sets up a bunch of chairs in the middle of the ring. Jacy hits her with a neckbreaker on the chairs to get a near fall. Dolin nails forearms before Jacy sends her face into a trash can into the corner before hitting a superkick and cannonball against the lid to get another near fall.

Jacy sets up a table in one corner. Gigi blocks a suplex and hits a big shot at Jacy’s back. Jacy throws her into the cage wall and then into ring post. She slams Gigi’s face into the cage wall a few times as she takes Gigi to the top rope. Gigi also slams Jacy’s face into the cage wall a few times before throwing her through the table with a chokeslam. Gigi comes down and gets the pinfall.

Winner – Gigi Dolin

We get a video package for NXT Battleground next.


Wes Lee was interviewed backstage earlier today talking about becoming the longest-reigning NXT North American Champion. The Dyad came in and says Joe Gacy had sent them with a message. They were about to attack him when Tyler Bate comes and stands with Lee. The Dyad retreat.


We see Tony D’Angelo getting processed at the police station.


Gallus trio are backstage discussing that they can’t be stopped. Mark Coffey mimics Tony D’Angelo when Stacks comes in and starts arguing before resorting to fist-fighting. Gallus easily take over control. Referees and crew members intervene and send Gallus away.

NXT Champion vs Heritage Cup Champion

NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams come out to the ring. They talk about Hayes’ title defense against Bron Breakker at Battleground. Noam Dar interrupts them with his new crew consisting of Oro Mensah, Lash Legends and one more lady. He says he also successfully defended his Heritage Cup and defeated Dragon Lee twice while Hayes just escaped Breakker. Trick trash talks back.

Hayes says Heritage cup might put him on a high level but NXT Championship puts him on the highest level. Hayes says if they put everything on the line, he will finish Dar. Dar says it sounded like a challenge and asks for a match tonight. Trick intervenes before Dar continues to talk. Lash Legends throws in the term “load management” to reference Hayes taking up the challenge. Hayes gets frustrated and says he is ready to take on Dar.


Cora Jade was backstage earlier today and said she was blind after a headbutt against Lyra Valkyrie last week, and if she was not, she would have been the NXT Women’s Champion. Ivy Nile comes in and asks her to stop whining. They argue and will face-off in a match later tonight.


Scrypts/Reggie interrupts Axiom as he watches Battleground British Round Rules match. He thanks Axiom to open his eyes by removing his mask, and therefore he could not stand behind and let Dabba Kato attack him last week.

The Dyad(Rip Fowler & Jagger Reid) vs Wes Lee & Tyler Bate

Bate starts against Reid with takedown. Reid takes Bate to his corner and tags in Fowler. Bate quickly fights back and hits a flying tackle off the top. Lee tags in for a pinfall attempt before Fowler kicks him away. Lee takes down Fowler before Bate tags in. Lee gets to the top but Fowler pushes Bate into the corner to trip him. Bate fights off a double team and reels The Dyad in to allow Lee to hit a crossbody. They hit stereo dropkicks before the match come to a stalemate due to Mustafa Ali’s arrival in the stands.

Mustafa Ali is on commentary as we return. The Dyad works on Bate for a while. Bate fights back with some kick and tags in Lee. Lee hits quick shots before back handspring. Fowler hits Lee with some chops. Reid tags in but Lee hits the Fowler with double Cardiac Kick. Bate tags in and hits stereo corkscrew senton atomicos. Bate hits Reig with Tiger Driver 97 to get the pinfall.

Winners – Wes Lee & Tyler Bate

As we return, we see Ivy Nile attacking Ava Raine. The Creed Brothers also come out and start to brawl with The Dyad. Joe Gacy attacks Bate and Lee in the ring. Mustafa Ali gets up from the commentary and fights Gacy, throwing him out of the ring.


Drew Gulak and Charlie Dempsey are giving a grappling lesson in Chase U. Thea Hail is watching from outside with Duke Hudson and trying to mimic what is taught. Hudson tells her not to put much pressure on herself. She gets in the ring and wants to have a go.

Tiffany Celebration

Tiffany Stratton come out to the ring for her championship celebration. She claims that she is gonna show everyone what it means to be a true champion. She claims that no one can do what she can in the locker room. She also claims that she is the epitome of a WWE superstar. Tiffany calls for the whole locker room to come out to learn from her. No one comes out. Tiffany says may be they do not want to know her first challenger.

The locker room finally comes out. Tiffany says she knows for sure that she is going to be a champion for a long time now after watching all of them. She had a Tiffany Epiphany from the way back from Battleground. Next week, there is going to be a #1 contender battle royal. But, it won’t matter because she will remain champion as long as she wants. Tiffany gets some glitter showered on her. Thea Hail gets into the ring and nails Tiffany with a big punch. Others also get involved to attack Tiffany to force her to leave the ring.


Dani Palmer is in the ring and says she will not leave the ring until she gets to know who this mystery attacker is. The Mystery woman appears on the big screen showing footage of all her attacks until now. Just as she is about to reveal her face on the screen, she attacks Palmer from behind in the ring. After taking down Palmer, this mystery woman reveals her mask and it is Blair Devanport.


Eddy Thorpe was backstage last week after his loss to Tyler Bate. Malik Blade and Edris Enofe try to motivate him. Damon Kemp comes in and mocks Thorpe. Blade and Enofe hold him back. A match between Thorpe and Kemp is set for next week.

Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo vs Joe Coffey

Stacks hits a dropkick out of the gate. Coffey hits body shots before Stacks hits back with some of his own. Stacks keeps him down for a few seconds. Coffey hits an armdrag before a whip to the corner and more shots. Stacks hits more body shots. Coffey hits a knee to midsection. Stacks hits more punches before a stomp on Coffey’s face. Coffey hits a bodyslam. Stacks sends him to the apron with a back body drop. He hits a dropkick to send Coffey off the apron. We cut to a break.

Stacks fights out of a bear hug but Coffey drops him on the ropes with a back body drop. Stacks hits a suplex to come back. He runs over Coffey with punches and an European uppercut. A neckbreaker follows from Stacks to get a two-count. Stacks goes to the top but it is Coffey who takes him down with a superplex to get a close two-count. Stacks reverses a whip and hits a back body drop.

Coffey’s clothesline takes them both to the floor. Coffey sidesteps a running tackle and Stacks runs into the steel steps. Back to the ring, Coffey brings out his signature tackle and hits his finisher to get the pinfall.

Winner – Joe Coffey

Mr. Stone was with Von Wagner last week and tells him that he can’t have disciplinary issues or he could kiss his free agent status good bye. He tells Wagner to get into therapy.


We get a special look at Ilja Dragunov’s day at Battleground around his Last Man Standing match.

Ivy Nile vs Cora Jade

Cora distracts Ivy and the referee by complaining about her eye and takes a cheap shot at Ivy. Ivy hits back with shots and an armdrag. Ivy keeps control and drops her one more time. Cora slips out of fireman’s carry and pulls Ivy’s hair to slam her into the mat. Cora slams her face first into the mat before she traps her arm on the top rope to hit a big chop and a dropkick. Cora puts on a headlock and keeps Ivy down on the mat.

Ivy gets back to her feet and hits an armdrag. Some quick high kicks are followed by a whip to the corner and big punch. Cora counters with an inside cradle to get a two-count. She drops Cora on the ropes. Ivy avoids a stomp and drops Cora. Ava Raine comes out to intervene but Ivy puts her in a choke on the ropes. Cora attacks her from behind and hits DDT to get the pinfall.

Winner – Cora Jade

Tank Ledger and Hank Walker are bonding backstage and come to a conclusion that they are bonding better than ever after fighting each other last week. Malik Blade and Edris Enofe come in and find out they have some bonding issues. but Blade says they are not fighting.


McKenzie Mitchell tries to catch up with Diamond Mine. Nile is fed up of Ava Raine interfering and challenges her for a match next week. The Creed Brothers throw out a challenge for The Dyad. Ava and The Dyad come to argue but crew keeps the two sides aside.

Carmelo Hayes(c) vs Noam Dar – NXT Championship Match

Hayes starts by countering an arm wringer. He gets Dar grounded. Dar gets up and Hayes ducks a side kick to hit a chop. Hayes puts on side headlock. Dar turns it into an armlock. Hayes hits an armdrag to get Dar back to the mat. Dar puts on a headlock before he hits a big sidekick to drop Hayes. Hayes hits a back elbow and a springboard tackle to take us to a break.

Dar hits a punch to break Hayes’ grip. Hayes sends him to the corner and hits a forearm. A whip to the other corner before setting up on the ropes for a forearm and a springboard leg drop. Dar blocks a pumphandle and throws Hayes to the apron. Dar trips Hayes with a kick on the apron before knocking him off with a dropkick. He hits a running uppercut when they get back to the ring to get a two-count. Dar hits a double underhook suplex for another two-count.

Hayes hits punches to midsection before Dar nails him with an elbow to the jaw. Hayes hits a hurricanrana. Dar hits a calf kick but Hayes replies with a series for punches and kicks before hitting a pump kick to drop Dar. A side slam gets Hayes a two-count. Lash Legends and Jakar Jackson try to interrupt. Trick Williams argue with them. Oro Mensah acts like he was attacked by Trick. The referee ejects Trick from the ringside.

Dar rolls up Hayes from behind. He hits an elbow before getting Hayes in a knee bar. Hayes hits back with punches to break free. Hayes goes for a crossface but Dar quickly gets to the ropes. They trade elbows. Dar hits a calf kick and a spinning elbow. Hayes counters a suplex with a cutter. Mensah trips him on the top rope while the ladies distracted the referee. Tyler Bate and Dragon Lee come out to stop Mensah. Dar comes out to argue with them. Hayes hits Mensah and Dar with a crossbody. He takes Dar back to the ring to hit the leg drop from the top to get the pinfall.

Winner – Carmelo Hayes

Hayes celebrates his win on the stage. Baron Corbin attacks him from behind and takes him to the ring to drop him with End of Days. Corbin holds the title in the air to close the show.
