WWE NXT episode of June 21, 2022, will continue to build up towards Great American Bash PPV. The show will feature NXT North American Championship match between Carmelo Hayes and Tony D’Angelo.

Solo Sikoa will take on Grayson Waller in a singles match while Alba Fyre will take on Lash Legends. Bron Breakker and Cameron Grimes’ rivalry will also look to continue.

Grayson Waller defeated Solo Sikoa via pinfall after Waller caught Sikoa with a pop-up cutter on his way back to the ring.

Backstage, Tony D’Angelo warned Santos Escobar, Cruz Del Toro and Joaquin Wilde to not get involved in his match against Carmelo Hayes later in the night.

We get a hype video for JD McDonagh(former Jordan Devlin).

Katana Chance & Kayden Carter defeated Yulisa Leon and Valentina Feroz via pinfall after a 450-splash by Chance on Feroz.

Wes Lee cut an in-ring promo saying that he has everything taken away from him in NXT including his tag team partner, but he is still fighting. Trick Williams interrupted him and told him to stop blaming others. Lee challenged Williams for a match but Williams replied that he would face him in his own time.

Tiffany Stratton called Wendy Choo tragic and wondered if she ever went to a gym. She challenged Wendy for a match next week.

Diamond Mine(Roderick Strong & Damon Kemp) defeated Legado del Fantasma(Cruz del Toro & Joaquin Wilde) via pinfall after Strong hit a jumping knee on Wilde. Donavon and Channing’s distraction played a part in the finish.

Giovanni Vinci was getting interviewed backstage where Ikeman Jiro challenged him for a match next week.

Toxic Attraction trio – Mandy Rose, Jacy Jayne and Gigi Dolin – came out to the ring. Roxanne Perez and Cora Jade interrupted them. Perez said she was thinking about using her NXT Breakout Tournament contract to be used for women tag team titles match. Kayden Carter and Katana Chance interrupted them and staked their claims to be the first to have a title shot.

An argument erupted between Indi Hartwell and Kiana James backstage. James said Hartwell has been handed everything until now. Hartwell replied with a challenge for next week.

Cameron Grimes defeated Edris Enofe via pinfall after Bossman slam and Cave-In. After the match, Grimes gave some advice to Enofe before shaking his hand.

Thea Hail checked into her room at Chase University where she will be roommates with Bodhi Hayward. Hail tried to infuse some of her energy into Hayward, who was confused earlier.

Von Wagner defeated Brooks Jensen via pinfall after Death Valley Driver.

A brief face off between Bron Breakker and Cameron Grimes backstage.

Alba Fyre defeated Lash Legends via disqualification after Legends hit Fyre with a baseball bat.

Carmelo Hayes(c) defeated Tony D’Angelo via pinfall to retain NXT North American Championship. Santos Escobar slipped in knuckles to Hayes, who nailed Tony with them to get the pin.
