United States Title Match Added to WrestleMania 37
Riddle has got his WrestleMania 37 opponent in form of Sheamus who will challenge for the WWE United States Championship.
The storyline between these two started last week when Riddle interrupted Sheamus’s backstage interview with a series of useless questions. Sheamus did not like this one bit and smacked Riddle with his own scooter.
A non-title match was announced between them for this week which saw Sheamus defeating Riddle after a Brogue kick. Riddle attacked Sheamus after their match. Later, it was announced that Riddle will defend the United States Championship against Sheamus at WrestleMania 37 night two.

Riddle won the United States title in a triple threat match at WWE Elimination Chamber PPV involving John Morrison and Bobby Lashley. He has, since, briefly feuded with Mustafa Ali and was able to retain the title against him at Fastlane 2021 PPV.
