TNA World Championship: Moose defeated Alex Shelley to win TNA World Championship at Hard to Kill PPV. A rematch was set between them in a No Surrender Rules match at No Surrender event for the title. Frankie Kazarian and Eric Young were feuding and were announced to fight at No Surrender with the winner getting a TNA World title shot at Sacrifice event. Young beat Kazarian to get the title shot. Moose retained the title over Shelley to set up the match.
Maclin vs Nemeth: Nic Nemeth arrived at TNA at Hard to Kill and confronted the newly crowned TNA World Champion Moose. After this, Maclin started targeting Nemeth as he was also trying to get a World title shot. Maclin also attacked Nemeth at WWC Euphoria event in Puerto Rico. On IMPACT February 29 episode, a video aired where Nemeth called out Maclin. Their match was then announced for Sacrifice event.
Knockouts Championship: The #1 contender match between Xia Brookside and Tasha Steelz ended in a double countout. After this, the champion Jordynne Grace announced that she would defend the title in a triple threat match against both Brookside and Steelz.
Ali & Good Hands vs Sabin, Kushida & Knight: Mustafa Ali defeated Chris Sabin to win X-Division Championship at No Sacrifice with help from Good Hands. It was then announced that Sabin would team up with Kushida and Kevin Knight to face Ali and Good Hands.
Alexander vs Hammerstone: Josh Alexander defeated Alex Hammerstone at Hard to Kill. On February 29, TNA announced that Hammerstone had signed with the promotion and would face Alexander in a rematch.
