TNA World Championship: Moose defeated Alex Shelley to win TNA World Championship at Hard to Kill. Shelley asked for his mandatory rematch at No Surrender event. On February 8, TNA announced that this match would be a No Surrender rules match where the match can only end when the towel is thrown in on somebody’s behalf by one of their cornermen.

TNA Knockouts Championship: Jordynne Grace won Knockouts title at Hard to Kill event. Gisele Shaw won Ultimate X match at Hard to Kill to earn a shot at the Knockouts title. Her title shot was announced for No Surrender.

TNA X-Division Championship: Mustafa Ali made his debut appearance on January 25 IMPACT episode via video. On February 5, TNA announced that Ali would challlenge Sabin for X-Division title.

Knockouts Tag Team Championship: Decay(Havok & Rosemary) returned from The Death Dollz to their former name at Hard To Kill and defeated MK Ultra(Killer Kelly & Masha Slamovich) to win TNA Knockouts Tag Team Championship. MK Ultra turned heel after losing the title and attacked Decay on IMPACT episode before asking for a rematch.

Alexander vs Gotch: Josh Alexander defeated Alan Angels on February 8 episode of Impact. After the match, he was attacked by a fan, who was later revealed to be Simon Gotch. Next week, Gotch pointed out he was Alexander’s last opponent on independent circuit before he signed with TNA. Alexander attacked Gotch after this. TNA later announced a match between them.

ABC vs GYV: Grizzled Young Vets(James Drake & Zack Gibson) debuted for TNA at Hard to Kill in a four-way tag team match for TNA Tag Team Championship. ABC(Ace Austin and Chris Bey) retained the title in that match. On January 25 episode of Impact!, GYV attacked ABC and asked for another title shot. Director of Authority Santino Marella announced a best-of-three series between the two teams for the title. GYV won the first match on the following week before ABC won the second match. The third and final match was announced to take place at No Surrender.

Kazarian vs Young: Frankie Kazarian and Eric Young teamed up at Hard to Kill to lose to The System(Eddie Edwards & Brian Myers) after a long rivalry with them. They once again lost to Grizzled Young Veterans on January 18 episode of IMPACT. After the match, Kazarian turned heel by attacking Young. Kazarian brought Big Damo to face Young on February 22 episode of IMPACT and Yougn was able to beat his former stablemate. TNA then announced that Kazarian and Young would clash in #1 contender match for TNA World Championship with the winner getting a title shot at Sacrifice.
