Edge Returns to WWE SmackDown
WWE Hall of Famer and men’s Royal Rumble match winner for this year – Edge will return to SmackDown after more than 2 years. The last time Edge appeared on SmackDown was at SmackDown 1000 episode. He hosted The Cutting Edge segment with SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch as his guest.
Edge has appeared both on RAW and NXT earlier this week, but has not revealed his choice for the WrestleMania title match. The rumor is that Universal Champion Roman Reigns is going to be his opponent at Mania, we can expect the angle to start this week.
Will Bianca Beliar Confirm His WrestleMania Choice?
While Edge is considered something of a free agent, Bianca Beliar is a SmackDown star officially. Yet she has the choice to challenge either RAW, SmackDown or NXT Women’s Champion at WrestleMania this year. Will she reveal her choice tonight?
What Happened Last Week at SmackDown?
- Daniel Bryan comes out for a promo but gets cut-off by AJ Styles. A match got fixed between them for later.
- Bianca Beliar defeated Bayley in a singles match.
- King Corbin defeated Dominik Mysterio
- Miz and John Morrison interrupt Sonya Deville and Big E backstage. This led to a brawl between the three men.
- SmackDown Women’s Champion Sasha Banks rebuffs Reginald as he brought wine from Carmella.
- Roman Reigns and Kevin Owens joins Michale Cole for an interview via video.
- Daniel Bryan vs AJ Styles gets interrupted by Sami Zayn.
- Shinsuke Nakamura, Big E and Daniel Bryan vs Cesaro, Sami Zayn and AJ Styles ends in a DQ after Miz and John Morrison attack.
- Otis, Cesaro, Big E and Daniel Bryan & Sheamus defeated The Miz, John Morrison, Shinsuke Nakamura, Sami Zayn and AJ Styles in 10 men tag team match.
- Braun Strowman returned to WWE TV and takes out Miz, John Morrison and Sami Zayn.
