IMPACT Victory Road 2023: Dreamer Career vs Title & More Matches Set

Lio Rush vs Kushida, Credits- IMPACT

Lio Rush will defend his IMPACT X Division against Kushida at IMPACT Victory Road 2023 event, while Tag Team titles will also be on the line along with Tommy Dreamer’s Career vs Title match.

Kushida got the IMPACT X Division title opportunity at IMPACT Slammiversary event, where he defeated Mike Bailey, Jonathan Gresham, Angels, and Kevin Knight in an Ultimate-X match. During August 31 IMPACT on AXS TV episode, Kushida challenged Rush for the IMPACT X Division title to cash in his title shot. Later on, IMPACT made the bout official.

Rush won the IMPACT X Division title at the IMPACT Slammiversary event, where he defeated Chris Sabin. The upcoming bout against Kushida will mark Rush’s first title defense.

Tommy Dreamer is also scheduled for the event, where he will face Kenny King in a title vs career match. King’s Digital Media Championship will also be on the line. Kenny King recently retained his title at IMPACT Emergence PPV event, where he defeated Johnny Swinger.

IMPACT Tag Team Championship match is also set for the event, where The Rascalz (Zachary Wentz and Trey Miguel) will defend their title against Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin. The Rascalz won the title at IMPACT Emergence PPV event, where they defeated Subculture (Flash Morgan Webster and Mark Andrews).

In addition, Steve Maclin will face Josh Alexander in a one-on-one match. PCO is also scheduled for the event where he will face Bully Ray. Recently, at the August 28 episode of IMPACT Wrestling,  Bully Ray and Steve Maclin defeated Josh Alexander and PCO.

IMPACT Victory Road event is scheduled for September 8, 2023, and it will be live from Westchester County Center in White Plains, NY, US.
