Seth Rollins-Shinsuke Nakamura Last Man Standing Set for WWE Fastlane

Seth Rollins will defend his World Heavyweight title against Shinsuke Nakamura in a last-man-standing match at WWE Fastlane 2023 event.

During the September 25 episode of RAW, Rollins made it known that he believes games have gone far enough, and he issued a challenge to face him in a Last Man Standing match at the Fastlane PPV event.

Nakamura also made a screen appearance during the episode and announced that they will fight in Last Man Standing match at Fastlane. Nakamura also claimed that the match would be so brutal that Rollins’ own daughter would be ashamed of him, and that would be Rollins’ last day as the champion.

Rollins continued with his promo and said if Nakamura thought his back injury was a weakness, he was wrong. Rollins argued that due to his back injury, he know any fight could be his last fight. But, that won’t be the case at Fastlane. Later, WWE officially announced the bout for Fastlane.

Seth Rollins has previously defeated Nakamura at Payback 2023 PLE for the Wolrd Heavyweight title. The feud started with Nakamura attacking Rollins after a tag team match on RAW August 7 episode.

On the August 21 episode of RAW, Nakamura disclosed in a video segment that he had informed Rollins about his awareness of Rollins’ back injury. Since that moment, Nakamura had been targeting Rollins’ vulnerable spot, causing frustration for Rollins.

WWE Fastlane 2023 PLE is scheduled for October 7, 2023, and it will be live from Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, IN. John Cena is also set for the event where he will face Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso. However, Cena’s partner for the match has not been revealed as of now
