ROH World Title & Castagnoli vs Matthews Bouts Added to AEW Full Gear
AEW has added two more bouts to AEW Full Gear 2023 event Zero Hour pre-show.
Eddie Kingston is set to defend ROH World Championship against Jay Lethal on the pre-show. Additionally, Claudio Castagnoli is set to take on Buddy Matthews.
During the November 17 episode of AEW Collision, Buddy Matthews squared off against Wheeler Yuta, emerging victorious in their match. Following the bout, Matthews attempted to assault Yuta, but Claudio Castagnoli rushed to the ring to intervene and protect Yuta.

Castagnoli then issued a challenge to Matthews for a match at Full Gear, which Matthews agreed to accept. Claudio Castagnoli’s most recent match was for AEW International Title on November 1 episode of AEW Dynamite, where he was defeated by Orange Cassidy.
Buddy Matthews’ stablemates Malakai Black and Brody King are also scheduled to compete at AEW Full Gear 2023 event in a match for AEW Tag Team Championship.
The storyline between Kingston and Lethal for ROH title has been going on for more than a month, but the match was finally made official during this week’s Collision episode.
AEW Full Gear PPV event is scheduled for November 18, 2023, and it will be live from Kia Forum in Los Angeles, California. A tag team match is also set for the event, where The Golden Jets will face Young Bucks.
The pre-show will also feature Samoa Joe tagging with MJF in ROH Tag Team Championship match against The Gunns.
