Eddie Kingston and Gabe Kidd will lead teams in a Riot Rules match at NJPW Windy City Riot 2024 event.

The announcement came via NJPW website and social media channels that it would be an eight-man tag match to be contested under a tornado format with no tags in or out. The teams on both sides will be a mystery and will only revealed when partners make their entrance.

Kingston defended his AEW Continental Crown Championship against Kidd at Battle in the Valley where the match ended in a double countout. Following the match, Bullet Club War Dogs attacked Kingston.

Following the event, Kingston warned that Kidd has made a dangerous enemy in him with more dangerous friends. It seems that Kidd would have no time to prepare for these dangerous friends as they would be revealed at the last second only.

Kidd is coming out of a 5-vs-5 tornado tag team steel cage match at The New Beginning in Osaka event earlier today where War Dogs defeated The United Empire.

NJPW Windy City Riot 2024 is scheduled to take place on April 12 at Wintrust Arena in Chicago, IL. Jon Moxley is set to challenge for IWGP World Heavyweight Championship while Mustafa Ali will clash with Hiromu Takahashi in a singles match.
