Riddle, Morrison & Ricochet Qualify For Men’s Money in the Bank Match
WWE held the qualifying matches for Money in the Bank Ladder match on the Monday Night RAW episode of 21 June 2021.
The first match that went down for Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder match was between AJ Styles vs Ricochet. After AJ dominated the contest, Ricochet took advantage of AJ getting distracted by The Viking Raiders who attacked Omos at the ringside. Ricochet hit the codebreaker as AJ went for the Phenomenal Forearm to get the win.
Both members of RK-Bro were in action for the qualifying matches. As Riddle went to Randy Orton for some pointer backstage, Orton told him to not do anything during his match.
Orton faced John Morrison in the MITB qualifying match. As Orton was looking to put away Morrison with an RKO, Miz used the Drip Stick to distract him. Riddle came out and chased Miz away. But this gave Morrison a chance to counter Orton and hits the Starship Pain to get the win.
Riddle faced Drew McIntyre fought hard in the third Money in the Bank qualifying match and it all came down to victory roll from Riddle to get the win.
WWE Money in the Bank 2021 PPV will be the first WWE PPV after WWE starts to tour again. 4 matches are already confirmed for the show as below:
