Report: CM Punk’s Return in WWE is in Talk
CM Punk is reportedly in discussions about a potential return to WWE.
Dave Meltzer discussed the possibility of Punk returning to the company in The Wrestling Observer Newsletter. In recent times, there has been substantial speculation regarding Punk’s potential return to WWE. Punk was part of WWE from 2005 until the 2014 Royal Rumble.
Meltzer’s report also mentioned that there have been rumors regarding Punk’s return. WWE hasn’t officially confirmed a finalized agreement, and sources close to Punk have suggested that he intends to return, with ongoing negotiations between the two sides.

The primary speculation regarding Punk’s return revolves around WWE Survivor Series 2023 PLE which is set to take place in Chicago on November 25. It’s worth noting that Chicago is Punk’s hometown.
CM Punk’s departure from WWE came 9 and a half year ago in 2014. He has been a triple crown champion with the promotion, winning WWE Championship twice, World Heavyweight Championship three times, Intercontinental title once, and tag team titles once. He was also Money in the Bank winner in 2008 and 2009.
Punk was released from his AEW contract on September 2 after a backstage incident at All In 2023 event. Despite his departure from AEW on September 2, Punk has maintained his status as the top merchandise seller for AEW for the previous, as estimated by Wrestlenomics.
