According to Monthly Puroresu, a source with connections to Okada suggests that he is headed to WWE. An additional detail is that he might commence his tenure in NXT, despite his established success and reputation in NJPW.

Kazuchika Okada is set to depart from NJPW this month as his contract comes to an end. While there is significant interest from both AEW and WWE, as of now, he has not finalized any agreements with either promotion.

From 2007 onward, Okada has been a cornerstone of NJPW and stands as one of the most distinguished wrestlers in the promotion’s history. His impressive record includes multiple victories in the IWGP World Heavyweight title (two) and IWGP Heavyweight title (five). Particularly noteworthy is his record for the longest reign as IWGP Heavyweight Champion.
