NWA Samhian 2023 event is set to take place on October 28, 2023. It is a PPV event presented by National Wrestling Alliance. The event will air from Temple Live in Cleveland Masonic in Cleveland, OH. A match between EC3 and Thom Latimer for NWA World Championship is set as the main event.

NOTES & STORYLINES

The word “Samhain” refers to the start of the winter festival. NWA is holding an event under this name for the first time.

EC3 became the NWA World Champion at NWA 75 Anniversary Show in August. On September 5 NWA Powwerr episode, he challenged Thom Latimer to use Lucky Seven rule to challenge him for the title. Under the rules, a secondary title holder can challenge the World Champion after relinquishing his own title. Latimer followed suit the following week and the match was announced as the main event of Samhain.

Blunt Force Trauma retained NWA Tag Team Championship against Knox and Murdoch after Aaron Stevens interfered with a loaded punch on Murdoch. A rematch between them ended in a disqualification when the referee found a chair in Knox’s hand as he tried to stop Carnage from using it. Knox and Murdoch then called for a rematch which was made official for this event.
