NJPW Reveals Teams Lineup for World Tag League 2023

The lineup is finalized for the NJPW World Tag League 2023.

New Japan Pro-Wrestling has officially revealed the rosters for the NJPW World Tag League. The tournament is scheduled to kick off on November 20 and wrap up on December 10. The winners will secure an opportunity to challenge for the IWGP Tag Team Championship at Wrestle Kingdom 18.

Sixteen teams will be divided into two blocks, and the top two from each block will move on to the semifinals on December 8 in Kirishima City. The tournament finals are set to take place the following night in Kumamoto.

Bishamon emerged victorious in the NJPW World Tag League 2022 and subsequently defeated FTR to clinch the IWGP World Tag Team Championship at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 17. This achievement adds to their previous success, as they also secured the tournament victory in 2021.
