A rematch from NJPW Dominion 6.4 was the headliner of this night. IWGP World Champion Sanada took on Yita Tsuji from Block A. Tsuji fought Ren Narita to a draw after losing his first bout against Kiyomiya. Sanada had won both his matches so far.
In other matches from Block A, Kaito Kiyomiya faced Shota Umino. Chase Owens took on Hikuleo while Ren Narita looked for his first win after two draws in the tournament so far as he took on Gabe Kidd.
Kazuchika Okada looked to build upon his two wins as he faced Taichi in the co-main event. Will Ospreay was facing KENTA as he looked to avoid another setback. El Phantasmo looked for his first win when he took on Great-O-Khan while Yoshi Hashi clashed with Tonga Loa.
