Two Kickoff Matches Revealed for NJPW Fighting Spirit Unleashed 2023
NJPW has revealed the lineup for two kickoff matches at the upcoming NJPW Fighting Spirit Unleashed 2023 event.
NJPW has confirmed a matchup where Team Filthy, consisting of Danny Limelight, Jorel Nelson, and Royce Isaacs, will take on Titus Alexander, Jakob Austin Young, and Baliyan Akki.
In their most recent bout, Team Filthy squared off at the NJPW STRONG Independence Day event, but they were defeated by Hiroshi Tanahashi, The DKC, and Tomohiro Ishii.

NJPW Academy will take center stage as Matt Vandagriff and Buck Skynyr go head-to-head in a STRONG Survivor Match at NJPW Fighting Spirit Unleashed 2023 event.
In his most recent appearance, Matt Vandagriff competed at NJPW Academy Showcase Summer 2023 event, but he was defeated by Rocky Romero. At the same event, Buck Skynyr secured a victory by defeating Jake Painter, Sean Keegan, and SoCal Crazy.
NJPW Fighting Spirit Unleashed event is scheduled for October 28, 2023, and it will be live from Sam’s Town Live in Las Vegas, NV. NEVER Openweight Championship match is also set for the event where Tama Tonga will face Shingo Takagi.
