How Roman Reigns’ WWE Creative is Impacted by Vince McMahon Absence?
An update on the creative direction for Roman Reigns in the absence of Vince McMahon’s contributions to WWE creative.
The merger of WWE with UFC has brought about significant change backstage. Reportedly, Vince McMahon is now allowed now to interfere in WWE’s creative process like he was able to do since the start of this year. WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H now has complete control over the creative direction of WWE after TKO Head Ari Emanuel stepped in to block any interference from Vince.
But, how does this affect things backstage? As per Fightful Select’s report, WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns and his storyline involving The Bloodline have remained unaffected by these backstage changes.

Roman Reigns’ creative direction, led by Reigns and Paul Heyman themselves, remains consistent despite changes in WWE’s creative leadership. Michael Hayes continues to produce Bloodline-related segments and angles, ensuring stability and seamlessness in the storyline development.
Reportedly, Michael Hayes was responsible for the recent WWE Undisputed Tag Team Title match on WWE Raw and Sami Zayn’s promo, given his consistent role in producing all segments associated with The Bloodline.
Fightful also reports that LA Knight’s ongoing push had been in the works prior to Vince McMahon’s departure and remains unaffected by his absence from the creative decision-making process.
There are rumors circulating that after defending his title against Jey Uso at SummerSlam, Roman Reigns may face LA Knight for the WWE Undisputed title at Crown Jewel 2023 PLE.
