AEW Battle of the Belts VIII: International Title & TBS Title Bouts Set
AEW has added two more matches for AEW Battle of The Belts VIII event featuring AEW International title and TBS Women’s title.
Orange Cassidy is set to defend his AEW International title at the AEW Battle of The Belts VIII event. His opponent will be determined on October 20 episode of AEW Rampage, where Brother Zay, John Silver, and Kip Sabian will compete in a #1 contender match.
Orange Cassidy won the AEW International title on October 10 episode of AEW Dynamite by defeating Rey Fenix. The upcoming match at AEW Battle of the Belts VIII will mark Cassidy’s first title defense in his second reign. His first reign ended at All Out 2023 PPV.

Kris Statlander is also set for the event, where she will defend her TBS title against Willow Nightingale. During October 18 episode of AEW Dynamite, Kris Statlander expressed her desire to defend her TBS Championship against Willow Nightingale backstage. Following this, the matchup was revealed to take place at AEW Battle of the Belts.
Statlander recent title defense was on October 14 episode of AEW Collsion, where she defeated Skye Blue. Willow Nightingale’s recent match on AEW was on September 27 episode of AEW Dynamite, where she got defeated by Julia Hart.
AEW Battle of the Belts VIII event is scheduled for October 21, 2023. It will be broadcast live immediately after the conclusion of October 21 episode of AEW Collision. AEW Trios Title bout is also set for the event where The Acclaimed (Max Caster and Anthony Bowens) and Billy Gunn face Daniel Garcia, Matt Menard, and Angelo Parker.
