Roman Reigns vs LA Knight Announced for WWE Crown Jewel 2023
Roman Reigns will defend his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against LA Knight at Crown Jewel 2023 PLE.
WWE made the match announcement on Twitter. On October 13 episode of SmackDown, Knight set Roman Reigns as his target, and he garnered an endorsement from John Cena as someone who rightfully deserves a chance at the championship.
During the main event of SmackDown on October 13, Knight secured a victory in a one-on-one match against Solo Sikoa. Following the match, Roman Reigns delivered a spear to Knight.

Knight’s feud with the Bloodline began when he intervened to help Cena against Jey Uso and Solo Sikoa. Additionally, Cena and Knight formed a tag team and managed to secure a victory over Jey Uso and Solo Sikoa at Fastlane 2023 PLE.
Roman Reigns’ last title defense came at SummerSlam 2023 PLE, where he defeated Jey Uso in a tribal combat match. This title defense will be his 30th in this second reign as the Universal Champion.
This is a significant opportunity for Knight, as it marks his first World title match in WWE. Previously, LA Knight had achieved success by winning the Million Dollar Championship. He has also won the Slim Jim Battle Royale at SummerSlam this year.
WWE Crown Jewel 2023 PLE is scheduled for November 4, 2023, and it will be live from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. WWE Women’s World Championship match is also scheduled for the event, where Rhea Ripley, Nia Jax, Raquel Rodriguez, Zoey Stark, and Shayna Baszler will face each other.
