NJPW Announces G1 Climax 33 Dates and Location
NJPW has announced G1 Climax 33 tournament to take place with 19 events between July 15, 2023, and August 13, 2023.
As the name suggests, this will be the thirty-third G1 Climax tournament from NJPW. The winner of the tournament gets to challenge IWGP World Heavyweight Champion at Wrestle Kingdom the coming year.
The tournament takes place with round-robin matches in the first round with participants divides into two groups. The winner of each group goes to the final to find the winner of the tournament. Kazuchika Okada has won the tournament for the past two years.

- Night 2 – July 16 at Hokkai Kita-Yell in Hokkaido
- Night 3 – July 18 at Yamagata Sports Center in Yamagata
- Night 4 – July 19 at Xebio Arena Sendai in Miyagi
- Night 5 – July 21 at Aore Nagaoka in Niigata
- Night 6 – July 23 at Big Hat in Nagano
- Night 7 – July 25 at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo
- Night 8 – July 26 at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo
- Night 9 – July 27 at Ota-Ku Gymnasium in Tokyo
- Night 10 – July 30 at Dolphin’s Arena in Aichi
- Night 11 – August 1 at Takamatsu Gymnasium in Takamatsu
- Night 12 – August 2 at Sun Plaza in Hiroshima
- Night 13 – August 5 at EDION Arena in Osaka
- Night 14 – August 6 at EDION Arena in Osaka
- Night 15 – August 8 at Yokohama Budokan in Kanagawa
