MJF will defend his AEW Word Championship against Adam Cole at AEW All In 2023 PPV main event.

During the August 2 episode of AEW Dynamite, MJF was set to address the fans. During the episode, MJF talked about his disorder and also stated how he used to be bullied and beaten up as a child. MJF also talked about his past experience with AEW and mentioned his struggles in life. 

MJF called out Adam Cole, acknowledging him as one of the best wrestlers in the world. Cole made his appearance and acknowledged MJF’s talents as well. During their conservation, MJF mentioned Cole’s promise that he would get a title opportunity.

MJF brought a contract and stated Cole deserved the match in the high-rated event and in the most historic crowd at Wembley at All-In. MJF confidently stated that history would be made at All In. Cole wasted no time and eagerly signed the contract. Later, AEW officially confirmed the match for the great occasion. 

During the June 14 episode of AEW Dynamite, Cole faced MJF in AEW World Title Eliminator match which ended with a time-limit draw. After that, the pair was put in a tag team together in the Blind Eliminator tournament, which they ended up winning to earn a shot at AEW Tag Team Championship.

During the July 29 episode of AEW Collision, FTR (Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood) defeated Adam Cole and MJF in a tag team match to retain the AEW World Tag Team Championship.

AEW All in PPV event is scheduled for August 27, 2023, at Wembley Stadium in London, England. This is the first match announced for the event. Andrade has also challenged Malakai Black for All In event, but it has not been officially announced by AEW.
