Miro vs Archer AEW TNT Title Match Added To Double or Nothing 2021

Miro vs Lance Archer AEW Double or Nothing 2021

All Elite Wrestling has announced that Miro will defend his newly won AEW TNT Championship against Lance Archer at AEW Double or Nothing 2021 PPV.

AEW tweeted out that General Manager Tony Khan has signed a huge championship match between Miro and Archer. Miro won the title by defeating Darby Allin in the main event of AEW Dynamite episode last week. Archer showed up immediately after the match to confront Miro as he was celebrating his win.

Archer then cut a promo on AEW Dark episode released on Tuesday where he said it is his destiny to be the TNT Champion and asked Tony Khan to give him a title shot.

The first AEW TNT Champion was crowned at Double or Nothing 2020 where Cody defeated Archer to win the final of the AEW TNT Championship Tournament. Archer was just a couple of months old in the company, as he signed with the promotion in February 2020.

Miro also signed with AEW in September 2020 and was paired with Kip Sabian for most of 2020. However, he transitioned into a singles run in March as Sabian and Miro lost a tag team match against Orange Cassidy and Chuck Taylor at AEW Revolution 2021.

More matches are expected to be announced for the PPV during AEW Dynamite episode later tonight. Keep tuned in for the latest updates.
