CM Punk “Is Back”! Punk’s AEW Contract, Next Appearance & More Details

CM Punk at AEW Rampage Debut

Tonight’s episode of AEW Rampage officially confirmed that CM Punk is All Elite. 

CM Punk finally made his long-awaited return to pro wrestling that too in his hometown Chicago. Punk’s entrance received one of the loudest pops of AEW history, and some of the fans were even crying. It seems like Punk is here for a long time as he declared that he has a lot of time to explain everything and he is not going anywhere now.

All Elite Wrestling also sent out a press release and CM Punk also posted the same. It reads, “The following statement was released today by CM Punk, through AEW President and GM Tony Khan of All Elite Wrestling in response to questions about his future career plans: ‘I’m back”

Ringside News also reported that CM Punk will work 10-12 days per year for All Elite Wrestling. According to Fightful Select, the discussions about this multi-year deal began in June and by the end of July, they inked the deal. 

CM Punk will kick off his AEW journey by squaring off against Darby Allin at AEW All Out on September 5. After AEW Rampage: The First Dance went off-air, Darby Allin accepted Punk’s challenge for a match at the upcoming PPV. 

AEW also confirmed that CM Punk will appear at this Wednesday’s episode of Dynamite. Also, the merchandise of CM Punk is already available to buy on ShopAEW.com. His merchandise is also available on Pro Wrestling Tees.
