Chris Jericho vs Konosuke Takeshita Set For DDT Ultimate Party
Chris Jericho will face Konosuke Takeshita in a one-on-one match at DDT Ultimate Party 2023 event on November 12, 2023.
Chris Jericho made his inaugural appearance on DDT programming through a video message sent to Takeshita during the DDT Who’s Gonna TOP? 2023 event.
During the event, Takeshita had just won a victory over MAO and was introducing Don Callis to the DDT audience then Jericho suddenly appeared on screen, dramatically tearing a picture of Takeshita in half.

During the video segment, Jericho proceeded to highlight his list of achievements in Japan across various promotions. He then unveiled his plan to grant Konosuke Takeshita the chance to face him in Takeshita’s home promotion at DDT Ultimate Party 2023, scheduled for November 12, 2023.
The feud between Jericho and Takeshita is part of Jericho’s rivalry with Don Callis. Callis got Jericho attacked by Takeshita and Will Ospreay before Jericho lost to Ospreay at All In. Callis also took away Sammy Guevara who turned on Jericho after their match at Grand Slam.
Jericho is also set for a star-studded trio match at AEW WrestleDream where he, Kenny Omega, and Kota Ibushi will face Konosuke Takeshita, Sammy Guevara, and Will Ospreay.
