It has officially been announced that Charlotte Flair would defend her SmackDown Women’s Championship against Ronda Rousey in an “I Quit” match at WWE WrestleMania Backlash

The WrestleMania rematch will take place at Backlash on May 8, but this time it will come with a stipulation.

Ronda Rousey made Charlotte tap out at the Showcase of the Immortals, but she still failed to win the match as it happened when the referee was knocked out. As a result, Charlotte managed to finish things off with a big boot and retained her title.

On this week’s SmackDown, Rousey called out how she had Charlotte tapped out during the match, but she can’t make excuses. Rousey then went on to challenge Charlotte for an “I Quit” match” at WrestleMania Backlash. Charlotte then appeared on the big screen and refused the rematch, telling Ronda to get back in the line for a title shot.

Ronda Rousey then made her case(rather threatened) to WWE official Adam Pearce to get her rematch. The match was eventually confirmed on WWE Talking Smack episode on Saturday morning.

The feud between Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair becomes quite personal, and hence “I Quit” is a perfect stipulation for their match at WWE WrestleMania Backlash. It is the first match that is confirmed for WWE WrestleMania Backlash so far.
