The pro-wrestling fans are in shock at the news of AEW and WWE Star Brodie Lee passing away on Saturday.
AEW revealed on their Twitter account that Jon Huber, known as Brodie Lee in AEW, has passed away on 26 December 2020. He survived with his wife Amanda, and two sons- Brodie Jr. and Nolan.
The news comes as a shock for many as Lee was seen just last month on TV. Brodie Lee was last seen on AEW TV in November. His absence after that was credited to an ankle injury.
Lee held AEW TNT Championship for 57 days. He defeated Cody on 13 August 2020 edition of Dynamite to win the title. Cody later returned and won the title back in a dog collar match from Lee on 10 October 2020 Dynamite.
Lee’s Wife Provides Reason of Death
Lee’s wife Amanda took to Instagram and remembered her husband. She also mentioned that Brodie Lee passed away from a non-COVID-19 lung issue. She also noted Lee passed away surrounded by loved ones after a hard-fought battle.

Wrestling World Pays Tribute
Many of Broddie Lee’s collegues from AEW and WWE have took to social media to pay their tribute after the news of him passing away came out.
AEW wrote in thier tribute on Twitter that The All Elite Wrestling family is heartbroken and how Jon Hunber was very different from his persona as Mr. Brodie Lee.
Matt Hardy remembered the time when Lee and Miro photobombed him on his birthday.
Former WWE Universal Champion and Lee’s Wyatt Family teammate Braun Strowman also shared a candid pic from thier days as the Wyatt Family.
