A news update came that Brian Pilman Jr. has been seen at the WWE performance center.

According to the report of Fightful Select, Brian Pilmar Jr. was present at the Performance Center and was spotted by multiple individuals. Sources within WWE have also verified the same.

Fightful also reported that Pillman has not been signed by the company yet. However, WWE had immediate interest when he became available. This training session is being described as “get to know you” meeting.

Pillman’s contract with AEW ended earlier this week, and he was removed from AEW’s official roster page. This ended his AEW association of 5 years, two of which were as a full-time contracted wrestler.

During his AEW tenure, Pillman primarily competed as part of the Varsity Blondes tag team alongside Griff Garrison and also teamed up with Brock Anderson. Pilman’s most recent appearance in AEW was at House Rules show in May this year and his last televised match was against Swerve Strickland in February.

Brian Pillman Jr. is the son of legendary wrestler Brian Pillman, who featured in NWA, WCW, WWF and ECW for the most part. He held tag team champions in WCW and NWA along with Light Heavyweight Championship in WCW.
