Report: Brian Pillman Jr Departs AEW as Contract Expires
Brian Pilman Jr. has reportedly left AEW after his contract was expired on July 11, 2023, after 5 years with the promotion.
According to a report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Pilman’s AEW contract has expired and he has left AEW. Earlier, fans caught that Pillman was removed from AEW’s official roster page. Pilman also posted on his Instagram account with the caption, “Stay tuned for the next chapter.”
Brian Pillman Jr. is with AEW ever since its first event Double or Nothing 2019 where he was part of Casino Battle Royal. After several appearances in the promotion, he was finally signed in July 2021.
Brian Pillman Jr mainly teamed up with Griff Garrison in the team named Varsity Blondes. His last television match with the company took place at Rampage episode on February 1, 2023, where he lost to Swerve Strickland in a singles match.
