Big E vs Apollo Crews Rematch Announced For WrestleMania 37
WWE has announced another rematch between Big E and Apollo Crews for WrestleMania 37 with the Intercontinental title on the line.
The storyline between these two men dates back to January this year where Apollo Crews lost a couple of title matches to Big E. Apollo then lost a match against Shinsuke Nakamura and snapped at Big E also when he tried to stop the attack. The attack forced Big E on the sidelines for three weeks.
Crews introduced his new Nigerian Royalty character before Big E returned to face him at Fastlane 2021. At Fastlane, Big E once again retained the title in a controversial(and also botched) finish.
WWE confirmed the rematch between them for WrestleMania 37 during this week’s SmackDown. Apollo also pinned Big E in a tag team match on SmackDown last night. Their match will go down on night 2 of WrestleMania 37 on 11 April 2021.
