AEW Worlds End 2023 Final Match Card: Battle Royal on Pre-Show
A total of 10 matches are announced for the card for AEW Worlds End 2023 PPV with a Battle Royal match added to the pre-show.
AEW added several matches to the card during this week’s Dynamite episode, including a grudge match between Swerve Strickland and Keith Lee. Lee had been calling out Swerve for a while to restart their feud. After Swerve lost in the semifinal of Continental Classic, he accepted Lee’s challenge to face him at Worlds End.
Jon Moxley won the semifinal of Continental Classic from Gold League to advance to the final at Worlds End by beating Swerve and Jay White. Eddie Kingston got a big win over Bryan Danielson to take the other spot in the final match.
Miro vs Andrade El Idolo match had been brewing ever since Andrade subscribed to Miro’s wife CJ Perry as the manager. Miro called out Andrade to face him at the PPV and the match was quickly made official by AEW.
AEW Tag Team Championship match is removed from the card and an 8-man tag team match has taken its place. Chris Jericho, Sammy Guevara, Sting and Darby Allin will now face Ricky Starks, Big Bill, Powerhouse Hobbs and Kyle Fletcher.
AEW also announced 20-Man battle royal for pre-show. No participants are revealed for this match yet, but the winner will earn a shot at AEW TNT Championship which can be cashed in anytime, anywhere.
AEW Worlds End takes place this Saturday on December 30, 2023. The updated card for the match is as below:
