Welcome to ITNWWE’s live coverage for AEW Rampage October 20, 2023 episode, which was taped earlier this week(spoilers here).

4 matches are set for the show as usual. Mistico and Rocky Romero will clash in a singles match for Mexico’s Pound For Pound crown. A triple threat between John Silver, Kip Sabian and Brother Zay for a chance to become #1 contender for AEW International Championship at Battle of the Belts.

Skye Blue takes on Ruby Soho while Blackpool Combat Club’s Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta will also be in action. Tune in below for the results.

Mistico vs Rocky Romero

Rocky starts with some tackles. Mistico trips him and gets some moves going. They trade armdrags before Mistico hits a hurricanrana to send Rocky out of the ring. He hits a tornillo on the floor. He remains in control in the ring. Mistico puts on a lock to get submission fall. Mistico gets the first fall.

Rocky sends Mistico into the steel steps to take over control. Rocky tries to rip off the mask but the referee stops him. We cut to a break.

Romero is in control as we return. Mistico hits tijeras and armdrags before they trade shots on the apron. Romero hits a suplex to the floor before a tope suicida. Back to the ring, Romero hits a superplex to get a near fall. Romero puts on a Camel Clutch. Mistico gets out of it but Romero hits Sliced Bread to get the pinfall. Romero gets the second fall before going to another break.

Mistico hits an enzuigiri to Romero when we return. He hits a crossbody from the top on the floor before hitting another crossbody in the ring. Romero gets his knees up on a moonsault. Mistico quickly recovers to hit a bodyslam. Romero hits a Sliced Bread from the top rope to get a near fall. Back on the top rope, Mistico hits a Spanish Fly from the top to get a near fall. He hits a Canadian Destroyer and a tijeras before putting on Fujiwara Arm Bar to get the submission. Mistico gets the third fall to win the match.

Winner – Mistico

Jay Lethal is backstage with Stokely Hathaway and he demands a match with Eddie Kingston for ROH World title. Hathaway then announces Kingston will face Jeff Jarrett on AEW Collision in a Memphis Street Fight, and if Jarrett wins, then Lethal will get his title shot.

John Silver vs Brother Zay vs Kip Sabian – Triple Threat #1 Contenders Match for the International Championship

Silver rolls out of the ring as the bell rings. Sabian and Zay fight with Sabian unloading with rights and a shoulder tackle. Zay hits an arm drag to Sabian and a dropkick to Silver when he returns. Sabian hits an enzuigiri on Zay to send him to the floor and take us to a break.

Back from the break, Zay hits an enzuigiri in Sabian before a moonsault to Silver on the floor. He hits a rolling Stunner on Sabian next. Silver sends Sabian into Zay in the corner. Sabian sends a German suplex on Silver before he hits a suicide dive on the floor. Dark Order try to intimidate Sabian, but Butcher and Blade get in Dark Order’s face. Zay hits a dive on everyone on the floor. Zay hits a Swanton Bomb on Sabian. Silver breaks the pinfall and pins Zay instead.

Winner – John Silver

We cut to videos from Ortiz and Mike Santana. They end up challenging each other for a match on Rampage next week.

Blackpool Combat Club(Claudio Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta) vs Bryan Keith & Exodus Prime

Yuta starts against Keith. Keith hits several chops. Yuta hits back with a German suplex. Claudio tags in. Prime comes in form the other side and Yuta sends him to Claudio for a Gorilla press. Claudio puts him in the Swing and throws him into a dropkick from Yuta. Yuta tags in and hits a splash from Claudio’s shoulder to get the win.

Winner – Blackpool Combat Club

We see a video from The Elite where they announce an open challenge for their ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship for Dynamite.

Ruby Soho vs Skye Blue

Soho hits an overhand chop after breaking from the lock up. Blue asks for more. Soho hits another chop before Blue hits back with several chops. Soho drops and hits a short arm lariat. Blue hits back with tijeras and a superkick. Soho counters a charge with a back elbow. Blue hits a roundhouse kick before hitting her into the ring apron. Soho hits a kick to knock her off the apron to take us to a break.

After the break, Blue is creating momentum with clotheslines and knee strikes. She hits a kick to get a two-count. Blue goes for Skye Fall, but Soho blocks. Blue hits a DDT. Saraya picks her ankle when she runs the ropes. Soho capitalizes with a Saito suplex. She sets up on the top rope for some punches before Blue slips out to hit a powerbomb. Soho hits back with No Future kick to get a near fall. Blue counters Destination Unknown with a pin attempt for a two-count. Blue then goes for Skye Fall but Soho pushes her into the ropes. Saraya hits her with spray paint can behind the referee’s back and rolls her up for the pinfall.

Winner – Ruby Soho

After the match, Saraya and Ruby beat up Blue. Kris Statlander runs out to make the save. Statlander gives a hand to Blue to get up, but Blue rolls out of the ring as goes to the back alone. The show goes off the air.
