Welcome to the live results blog for WWE Rampage June 23, 2023 episode which was pre-recorded earlier this week with Dynamite in Chicago, IL(Spoilers Available here).

Owen Hart Foundation Tournament kicked off at this episode as Anna Jay AS took on Skye Blue. The Acclaimed and Billy Gun were also in action. Chaos and United Empire clashed in an 8-man tag team match. Douki faced Jungle Boy Jack Perry in the main event.

Live Updates

Chaos(Yoh, Trent Baretta, Chuck Taylor & Rocky Romero) vs United Empire(Will Ospreay, Jeff Cobb & Kyle Fletcher) & Swerve Strickland

Massive brawl to start the show. Yoh and Ospreay are in the ring as things settle. Yoh trips Ospreay and hits a low dropkick to his face. Best Friends tag in while Fletcher comes in from the other side. Best Friends double team on Fletcher. Trent hits some chops. Fletcher fires back with some shots before a body slam. Trent and Romero double team for some quick action to clear the ring and the apron. Yoh is in the middle for a Best Friends Hug, but United Empire sweep the other members of his team. United Empire get Romero under control to take us to a break.

Swerve is in control against Romero and hits senton off the top. Romero hits an enzuigiri and tags in Yoh. Ospreay comes in to trade quick punches with Yoh. Ospreay hits a springboard overhead kick. Yoh hits an arm drag and a bridging suplex to get a two-count. Chaos corner Ospreay and gangs up on them. Yoh gets his Best Friends Hug now. Apart from Yoh, other Chaos members get to the floor to deal with other opponents. Yoh hits a suplex but Swerve breaks the pin. United Empire in control now. Ospreay gets a near fall on Yoh before he hits a Hidden Blade to get the pinfall.

Winners – United Empire & Swerve Strickland

We get a video package from AEW Women’s Champion Toni Storm for her match against Willow Nightingale.


Adam Cole comes out but before he can pose, MJF’s music hits and he comes out to the stage. MJF thanks his new tag team partner Cole to motivate him to defend the title against Hiroshi Tanahashi. MJF says he also talked to Tony Khan and Cole will face Tom Lawlor at Forbidden Door. Tom Lawlor and Royce Issacs attack Cole from behind. They put on a single leg crab and an armbar on Cole. MJF says he is running down to make the save but wastes time in removing his watch and his scarf.

The Acclaimed & Billy Gunn vs Enhancement Talents

Caster raps during their entrance. Billy Gunn is alert as their opponents try to attack from behind. The Acclaimed clear the ring as the bell rings. They do a 3-way scissor before continuing with the attack. Gunn hits Fameasser, Bowens hits the Arrival and Caster hits Mic Drop to get the pinfall.

Winners – The Acclaimed & Billy Gunn

Harley Cameron of QTV crew comes out with a couple of masked men. The crowd boo her heard.She offers to collaborate with The Acclaimed to create a blockbuster song. Cameron shows off her rapping skills where she says she believes Bowens is into him. After the rap ends, Bowens mocks her as he says he is gay. QT Marshall and Aaron Solow come out to the stage and mock The Acclaimed. Caster and Bowens get out of the ring to deal with them but one of the masked men hit Gunn with a superkick. The mask is removed and it turns out to be Johnny TV. The Acclaimed are also attacked from behind when they turn around to get into the ring.

Skye Blue vs Anna JayAS – Women’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament Quarterfinal

They lock up and Anna pushes Skye into the corner and flicks at her face. Anna runs out and Skye runs after her. Anna catches her with a kick on their way back into the ring. Skye hits a dropkick, a knee and a springboard move to take over control. Anna takes over control on the ropes and hits a suplex on the floor. Anna chokes her in the corner to take us to a break.

Skye fires forearms as we return. She continues with more quick moves before hitting a roundhouse kick. She hits an elbow after being sent to the apron with a back body drop. Skye pushes Angelo Parker off the apron when he distracts him. Skye breaks free of queenslayer by dropping Anna on the ropes. Anna hits a backstabber but Skye kicks out. Anna puts on queenslayer once again. Skye starts fading but manages to drive Anna into the turnbuckle. Skye hits Code Blue to get the pinfall.

Winner – Skye Blue

We get a video package with duelling promos for the main event of Collision this week.

Douki vs Jungle Boy Jack Perry

The bell rings and they start with a lock up. Perry starts with a shoulder tackle off the ropes. Douki hits a couple of armdrags. Perry hits an over head chop and an arm drag. Douki uses a low bridge to send Perry to the floor before hitting a suicide dive. They trade a few chops on the floor before Perry whips him into the barricade. He hits a side suplex on the apron as we cut to a break.

Douki hits a back elbow as we return. He follows up with a step-up enzuigiri and a corkscrew elbow. He hits a running splash to get a two-count. Perry hits back with a double underhook Tiger Driver to get a near fall. Perry pulls up the timekeeper’s table near the ring. Douki blocks a Powerbomb and hits an enzuigiri. Douki hits a diving senton to take Perry through the table. Perry hits back with a thrust and a clothesline before Douki hits a brainbuster. Perry hits back with a back elbow before Douki hits a DDT off the ropes to get a near fall. Perry counters with a wheelbarrow to get a two-count. He hits a superkick, poisonrana and lariat to the back. He puts on Skull End to get the submission.

Winner – Jack Perry

IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Sanada comes out after the match. Sanada and Perry get into each other’s face in the ring. Sanada shows off his title before the show ends.
