Welcome to the live results blog for AEW Rampage June 16, 2023, which was pre-taped in Washington DC earlier this week with Dynamite(spoilers available here).

4 matches were set for the show starting with a mixed trios tag match featuring Jeff Jarrett, Karen & Jay Lethal on one side, taking on Mark Briscoe, Papa Briscoe and Audrey Edwards on the other side.

Bandido faced Konosuke Takeshita in a singles match apart from Taya Valkyrie taking on Trish Adora. Will Ospreay led United Empire to take on CHAOS’s Rocky Romero, Trent Baretta & Chuck Taylor.

Live Updates

United Empire(Will Ospreay, Jeff Cobb & Kyle Fletcher) vs CHAOS(Rocky Romero, Trent Baretta & Chuck Taylor)

Fletcher starts against Trent with some back-and-forth action. Trent tags out to Romero. Ospreay comes in from the other side. Ospreay starts quickly but Romero counters to send him to the floor. Cobb gets in but Romero blocks a belly-to-belly. The other two members come in to tackle Cobb. Fletcher is also sent to the floor. Chaos hit moonsault and dives on United Empire members. Ospreay is brought back to the ring and is cornered with quick tags. Ospreay comes back with a corkscrew kick. Fletcher knocks off Romero before Cobb tags in and takes over control against Taylor. We cut to a break.

Taylor hits a sole foot as we return. Trent and Fletcher tag in. Trent nails big punches before Fletcher hits some back elbow. Trent hits German suplexes and a saito suplex. Fletcher hits back with a sheer drop brainbuster. Romero gets in and hits double knees with Trent before more double-team work. Cobb comes in and deadlifts Trent. Chaos trio work on Cobb together. They go for a 3-way Best Friends hug. Cobb hits Olympic slam to both Romero and Trent at the same time.

Cobb tackles the trio and tags in Ospreay. Ospreay hits quick moves but his Hidden Blade is countered by Romero with a backslide for a two-count. The match breaks down with everyone getting involved one by one. Romero goes for a tornado DDT on Ospreay when things settle. But, Fletcher catches him and hits a piledriver. Fletcher holds Romero as Ospreay hits Hidden Blade to get the pinfall.

Winner – United Empire

Taya Valkyrie vs Trish Adora

Taya ducks the tie-up and hits some heavy shots on Adora on the ropes. She hits chops and back elbows in the corner. She hits double knees in the corner to get a two-count. Adora hits back with an elbow but Taya hits back quickly and hits a sliding German suplex. Trish hits her with a pump kick on the apron. Adora nails some forearm shots before Taya comes back with a spear. Taya hits a curbstomp to get the pinfall.

Winner – Taya Valkyrie

The Hardys are backstage where Matt announces The Gunns vs The Hardys for Dynamite next week. Matt says The Gunns will be a stepping stone for them towards AEW Tag Team titles. Jeff says their daddy scissors but The Gunns suck, and they will make them famous next week.

Jeff Jarrett, Karen & Jay Lethal vs Mark Briscoe, Papa Briscoe and Audrey Edwards – Mixed Trios Tag Team Match

Mark starts with a side headlock and a shoulder tackle. Jarrett tags in and hits an armdrag on Mark. Jarrett does the strut and kisses his wife but this gives Mark a chance to hit armdrags. Karen is tagged in, which also brings in Audrey. Karen tags out immediately to Lethal who hits an uppercut. Papa Briscoe gets into the ring to hit a double tackle with Mark. Mark hits a suplex on Lethal. Sonjay Dutt runs a distraction to allow Lethal to knock Mark off the top rope. We cut to a break.

Mark counters Lethal and Jarrett with a double shoulder-tackle. Papa Briscoe comes in but neither Jarrett nor Lethal wants to face him. Papa hits clotheslines on both men. He also hits a clothesline on Sonjay on the apron before another clothesline on Jarrett. Audrey and Karen get to roll on the mat. Audrey hits some snap mare DDTs. Karen rakes Audrey’s eyes but Audrey stops a guitar shot. The referee stops her from using the guitar. Lethal gets in and dares her to hit the guitar. Satnam gets on the apron to argue with Mark. This allows Audrey to hit Lethal with the guitar. Audrey blocks Strobe from Karen and puts on a figure four leglock to get the submission.

Winner – Mark Briscoe, Papa Briscoe and Audrey Edwards

Taya Valkyrie is backstage and is not happy at the mention of Kris Statlander. Statlander comes in and Taya tells her she did all the work by bringing down Jade at Double or Nothing, but Statlander is taking all the glory and her spot. Statlander is ready to defend her title against Taya anytime anywhere. Taya says she will see her when she sees her.

Bandido vs Konosuke Takeshita

Quick start as they run the ropes. Takeshita slams Bandido to the mat using momentum. Bandido blocks a knee but Takeshita sends him to the ropes and hits a senton. The action spills into the crowd after Takeshita counters a whip by hitting a clothesline. They get back into the ring after a while. Bandido slips out of a suplex and hits a delayed vertical suplex himself. Bandido hits another delayed vertical suplex after a while.

Bandido sends him to the apron with a back body drop. He follows up by hitting a diving hurricanrana on the floor. Don Callis has left the commentary table to distract Bandido for a while. Back to the ring, Takeshita counters a springboard move with a knee strike to take us to a break.

Bandido hits several chops and forearms as we return. Takeshita hits a lariat before raining down punches. Bandido hits an uppercut before a DDT. Takeshita rolls to the floor. Bandido hits him with a moonsault on the floor. Back in the ring, Takeshita hits a blue thunderbomb to get a close two-count. Bandido hits a boot before hitting a powerslam and follows up with a frog splash to get a close two-count himself.

Bandido sets up Takeshita on the top rope. He goes for avalanche 21-plex but Takeshita blocks it. Takeshita instead hits a lariat on the rope which takes both of them down to the mat. Bandido kicks out of the pin. Bandido hits GTS. Takeshita lands on his feet on 21-plex. Bandido then lands on his feet on a German suplex. Bandido ducks under a knee strike. He counters with a sunset flip to get a two-count. Takeshita blindsides Bandido with a knee strike.

Winner – Konosuke Takeshita
