Jon Moxley vs Minoru Suzuki: AEW will be in Jon Moxley’s hometown Cincinnati on 8 September. Coming out of his match against Satoshi Kojima, Moxley was confronted and attacked by Minoru Suzuki. Now, Moxley vs Suzuki match is announced for AEW Dynamite in Cincinnati. This match has previously taken place in NJPW when Moxley successfully defended the IWGP US Title. Will the result be any different this time?

Malakai Black vs Dustin Rhodes: Malakai Black has gone through Cody Rhodes, Brock Anderson and Lee Johnson till now. Dustin Rhodes is next from the Nightmare Family to take him on at Dynamite.

Ruby Soho Appears on Dynamite: Ruby Soho made her AEW debut in Women’s Casino Battle Royal at All Out and won the match to become the new #1 contender for Women’s title. She will make her first appearance on AEW Dynamite on this episode.

Post All Out: All Out also saw the AEW debuts of Adam Cole and Bryan Danielson. What will unfold as they make their first AEW Dynamite appearance.

Malakai Black vs Dustin Rhodes

Dustin attacks Black as soon as the bell ring. Big right hands and kicks from Dustin before he hits a German suplex. He throws Black out to the floor. Black drops him on the timekeeper’s table out of nowhere.

Black removes one of the turnbuckle pad before bringing Dustin back to the ring. Back and forth action as Dustin avoids being sent into the turnbuckle but gets hit with a knee to the midsection. He puts on a heel hook as we got to a break.

Dustin fights back with lariart and signature dropdown punch. Black misses a kick and Dustin drops him with a punch. He unloads on Black in the corner. Black slips out and kicks at Dustin’s knee. A big pump knee strike from Black gets him a near fall. Black takes out Cody’s boot from under the ring. Dustin fires up and unloads on Black. Black drops him on the turnbuckle with a drop toe-hold and Black Mass for the win.

Winner – Malakai Black

Lucha Bros cut a promo backstage with Alex Abrehantis. They say that they have no fear in defending their tag titles for which they have spent blood and sweat.

We get a video package for Eddie Kingston vs AEW TNT Champion Miro. It looks like we might get a rematch soon after Miro used a mule kick at All Out to get the win.

What’s Next for CM Punk?

CM Punk comes out. He thanks fans for their support and said that he did not know how the match would go down. He gives a shout out to the new entrants of AEW – Ruby Soho, Adam Cole, Daniel Byran. He wonders what is next for him after his debut match.

Taz, on commentary, suddenly gets agitated and tells Punk not to take Team Taz’s name again. Punk says he hasn’t done it yet. Taz tells him that he has been pointing them out in interviews. Powerhouse Hobbs and other Team Taz members come out to the ramp. Punk dares them to take him on. The segment comes to an end as we Punk exits in front of them.

Ortiz and Santana cut a promo saying they are ready to focus on tag team division now that they have defeated FTR last week. They say they are the best and demand to be proven wrong.

Ruby Soho gets interviewed backstage before being interrupted by Brit Baker and company. Soho warns Baker that she will whoop her a**.

Powerhouse Hobbs vs Dante Martin

Hobbs drops Martin with a big tackle. Martin tries to take him down with a crossbody but Hobbs catches him. Martin sends Hobbs out to the ring with a dropkick. Hobbs catches him in a suicide dive and drops him on the barricade. We cut to a break.

Dante comes back with a missile dropkick and standing splash to get a two-count. A pump kick sends Hobbs out of the ring and takes him out with a suicide dive. Back to the ring, Martin hits an enziguiri and more kicks before Hobbs catches him with a spinebuster out of nowhere for the win.

Winner – Powerhouse Hobbs

Dan Lambert is with Scorpio Sky and Ethan Page on the sky box. Lambert goes on a rant for AEW trying to make stars out of midgets and ignoring Sky and Page. He offers an open challenge for anyone to try and take them on.

Matt Hardy is livid and wants to cut Orange Cassidy’s hair. Orange Cassidy responds with “whatever.”

Salt of the Cincinnati

MJF is in the ring and he has defeated Jericho clean for the fourth time. But the match was restarted since there is a bias against him backstage. MJF takes shots at Cincinnati crowd. He dares someone from the crowd to take him on. He takes shots at Lynda Pillman and Rosane Pillman in the front row. Brian Pillman comes out to the ramp now.

Pillman says this city breads bada**es like him and Jon Moxley. He hypes the crowd who gives him a huge pop. More profanity from MJF and Pillman hits the ring. MJF takes a shot at Wardlow also for just being a spectator at AEW All Out. Wardlow goes and stands in the corner.

Pillman takes down MJF and Wardlow has to separate them. Wardlow beats up Pillman again now. Griff Garrison runs down and Wardlow drops him also. Pillman comes in between Wardlow, MJF and Garrison to stop the attack. MJF and Wardlow leave as Pillman checks on Garrison.

Salt of the Cincinnati

Hayter takes Ruby to the corner and hits a sweet slap. Ruby fights off a headlock but gets dropped by Hayter. Ruby hits a knee to the face. Hayter beats up Soho and throws her out of the ring. We cut to a break.

Soho comes back in the corner and hits a few running kicks. She counters Hayter again with a DDT. Hayter hits her with elbows to counter a suplex. Hayter drops her in a backbreaker and then a big elbow to get a near fall. Ruby hits a Pele kick to get the pin.

Winner – Ruby Soho

After the match, Britt Baker and Rebel attack Soho. Riho runs out to make the save but Hayter drops her also. Kris Statlander then runs in with a steel chair to force them to run away.

Dark Order (Evil Uno, John Silver, & Stu Grayson) vs the Pinnacle (Cash Wheeler, Dax Harwood, & Shawn Spears)

Silver hits a power slam and tags in Grayson hesitantly. Spears turns it around against Grayson. Grayson comes back and drops Spears. Uno comes to hold Spears as Grayson hits a springboard elbow drop. Spears hit a headbutt on Silver. Harwood comes in and quickly attacks Silver.

Silver reverses a suplex. Wheeler and Spears clear the apron to stop Silver from tagging out. Silver fights all three opponents but ends up taking out Evil Uno from the apron. Dax hits him with a slingshot suplex and Spears drops him C4 for the pin.

Winner – Shawn Spears & FTR

Post-match, a brawl breaks out between Dark Order. Anna Jay and Tay Conti come down but don’t intervene in the chaos.

A backstage segment where Brian Pillman Jr. informs us that he has asked for a match against MJF at AEW Grand Slam. The Acclaimed come up and inform Brian about Max Caster vs Pillman on Rampage this Friday.

The Elites!!

Tony Schiavone is in the ring and introduces the Elites. Don Callis takes the mic and reminds us how Kenny Omega won the number spot in Pro-Wrestling Illustrated ranking for 2021. The Young Bucks gave us the greatest tag team match in history. They traded the Tag Team titles to bring back their friend Adam Cole. Cole comes out to join other members of the Elites.

Cole threatens Schiavone to not look at Britt Baker in a wrong sense. Cole then puts over members of The Elites and how they are the greatest faction in wrestling. He also says that AEW is the best wrestling company in the world. Kenny Omega takes the mic and says Adam Cole reuniting with the Elites is a cause of celebration. He doesn’t want any interruptions now. But interruption came in the form of Bryan Danielson.

Omega tells everyone to clear the ring since he wants to talk Bryan Danielson alone. Bryans yanks the mic out of his hand though. Bryan asks Kenny if he thinks he is the greatest wrestler in the world, why not he takes on him. Bryan adds that Kenny is afraid of him, Kenny attacks him but Bryan takes him down in the LeBell lock. The Elite attack, but Jurrasic Express and Christian Cage come out soon. Cutler remains the only member of the Elites in the ring and Bryan takes him out with a running knee.

Jon Moxley vs Minoru Suzuki

They face-off as the bell rings and then start taking swings at each other. Suzuki with a flurry of strikes and Mox replies with big elbow strikes. We cut to a picture in picture.

Moxley gets a two-count as we return. Suzuki hits a big boot in the corner. Mox catches his kick and then bites off his head. Suzuki returns the favor by biting Mox. They trade headbutts now and Suzuki gets dropped. They trade strikes now while being on their knees. Suzuki puts on a sleeper choke and transitions to a piledriver.

Mox counters the piledriver with a DDT and then hits a big lariat. Suzuki holds his ground on the following lariats and then catches Mox with a dropkick. Suzuki puts on the sleeper again. Mox hits him with big right hands and hits the Paradigm shift for the pin.

Winner – Jon Moxley

The show goes off the air with Moxley celebrating with the crowd.
