AEW Dynamite episode of February 14, 2024 featured a Texas Deathmatch between Orange Cassidy & Matt Taven.

Adam Copeland battle with Daniel Garcia in #1 contender match for AEW TNT title. Jon Moxley and Dax Harwood were also set to face-off in a singles match. The Young Bucks took on Top Flight in a tag team match while Willow Nightingale battled Skye Blue.

AEW World Champion Samoa Joe, Adam Page and Swerve Strickland were set for segments while Toni Storm’s movie Wet Ink premiered. Tune in below as we post results from AEW Dynamite February 14, 2024 episode.

RESULTS & UPDATES


Jon Moxley defeated Dax Harwood in a singles match via submission using bulldog choke.

Moxley did not let go off the choke after the match, prompting Cash Wheeler to run out and beat him up. Claudio Castagnoli ran out to beat up Wheeler. Moxley once again put up bulldog choke on Harwood.

Don Callis was backstage with Konosuke Takeshita and Powerhouse Hobbs. Callis said he could not find an opponent for Takeshita for Revolution 2024, and therefore he has picked up a man from within The Don Callis Family to face Takeshita. He announced Will Ospreay vs Konosuke Takeshita for Revolution.

Wardlow defeated Barrett Brown(enhancement talent) in a singles match. Wardlow beat up Brown for a few seconds before hitting a powerbomb to get the pinfall.

Adam Copeland vs Daniel Garcia match ended in a no-contest after Killshot and Nick Wayne attacked both competitors in the ring. The Patriarchy, led by Christian Cage, beat them up and stopped a fight-back from Copeland with a low blow from Shayna Wayne. Christian hit a con-chair-to on Copeland.

AEW World Champion Samoa Joe came out and said Swerve Strickland and Hangman Page might walk into Revolution, but they would limp out. Swerve came out and said he did not want to make it personal with Joe, but he would take the title from him. Hangman also came out and said Swerve does not deserve to have a title match since he did not beat him. Joe stopped them from getting physical and told them that he would not let either of them to pin each other and take his title.

We saw Toni Storm’s “Wet Ink” where we saw her getting tattoo of her left leg(which is same as Deonna Purrazzo) modified and had interesting expression to deal with the pain during the process. Deonna Purrazzo joined Renee Paquette to comment on it and vowed to break Toni’s arm.

The Young Bucks(Matthew Jackson & Nicolas Jackson) defeated Top Flight in a tag team match. The Bucks had to resort to a low blow on Darius to stop Top Flight’s momentum before hitting EVP Trigger to get the pinfall.

After the match, The Young Bucks claimed that they had become the #1 contender for tag team titles. They fined Tony Schiavone $1000 after his protest and shoved him down. Darby Allin ran out and accepted their challenge for tag team titles – Sting & Darby Allin vs The Young Bucks for AEW Tag Team Championship at Revolution.

Renee Paquette was backstage with The Bang-Bang Scissor Gang who have their own lounge now. They announce that they would be in a 12-man match at Rampage this week.

Willow Nightingale defeated Skye Blue in a singles match. Stokeley Hathaway was on the commentary for the match. When Blue created momentum, Hathaway got up from the commentary to get to the apron. Blue hit Code Blue but the referee was distracted dealing with Hathaway. Willow then hit powerbomb to get the pinfall.

Orange Cassidy defeated Matt Taven in Texas Death match in the main event. Taven send Cassidy through a table on the floor. Cassidy later ducked a suicide dive from Taven and he also crashed through the table. Cassidy spread thumbtacks in the ring but Taven pushed him off the top rope to send him into tacks. Taven then missed a splash to land on the tacks. Mike Bennett attacked Cassidy, but Trent Baretta also came out to counter him. Chaos continued with Cassidy hitting Taven with multiple Orange Punches. Strong ran out but Baretta took the shot from him before Cassidy threw him out. The referee, meanwhile, complete the 10-count on Taven.
