AEW Dynamite February 7: Page-Swerve 3, Tony Khan Announcement Set
AEW Dynamite episode of February 7, 2024 has a loaded line-up advertised for the show including a title eliminator between Adam Page and Swerve Strickland, and a big announcement from Tony Khan.
Swerve Strickland and Hangman Adam Page were at #1 and #2 in men’s singles AEW Rankings released on January 31. Page and Swerve picked each other’s opponents on Dynamite this week. Page defeated Toa Liona while Swerve Strickland defeated Rob Van Dam in a no-disqualification match.
After Swerve beat RVD, the duo had a confrontation in the ring where Page asked for their third clash. Swerve was baited into accepting the match after Page accused him of using The Mogul Embassy to get the wins. The match quickly made official by AEW while adding that the winner will face AEW World Champion Samoa Joe at Revolution 2024 PPV.
Swerve first defeated Page at Wrestledream 2023 event before Swerve got another win in a Texas Deathmatch at Worlds End PPV.
Tony Khan is set to make a big announcement on Dynamite next week. No hints or reports are there what this announcement is about.
Sting and Darby Allin were announced to challenge for AEW Tag Team Championship against Ricky Starks and Big Bill. A wrench is thrown into the storyline for this match when The Young Bucks decided to make Darby Allin pay for overlooking them.
Chris Jericho will continue his rivalry against Don Callis Family as he was already announced to face Konosuke Takeshita. Jericho defeated Kyle Fletcher from the stable this week on Dynamite.
A trios match is also announced where Blackpool Combat Club’s Jon Moxley, Bryan Danielson and Claudio Castagnoli will face CMLL’s Mascara Dorada, Hechicero, & Volador Jr. CMLL group attacked Moxley after his match against Jeff Hardy on Dynamite this week.
AEW Dynamite will be airing on February 7, 2024, from Footprint Center in Phoenix, AZ. The current line-up is as below:
